Olmert, one of the best PM Israel ever had, is a guy who can make tough decisions and take full responsibility for them: Like ordering the bombing of the Syrian nuclear reactor - the easy way out after the problematic outcome of the second Lebanon (not his fault, but that of years of neglect) would have been to do nothing. And again, he did not hesitate to fight another war in Gaza, when he had to, but was able to get European leaders to Jerusalem who pledged their support for us then, because he also talked peace.
