1. Chief of Staff
Abraham Nachmias ,   Petach Tikva IL   (05.29.11)
So intentional shooting is not assassination? The problem is that they entered to a place that we have LEGALLY the right to enter? Not that the Authority men are just assassins? Really, I would like someone who doesn't follow Barak's line of guarding the status quo over any other thing to lead the IDF!!!
2. who said it wasn't intended at suspicious settlers
observer ,   Egypt   (05.29.11)
who acted suspiciously in early hours of the morning?
3. Beating about the bush only shows fear
AB ,   TheRock   (05.29.11)
Call things by their proper name. If the victim by the state is considered a 'victim of terror' then that makes the killer a terrorist. Intentionally killing a harmless unarmed human being on behalf of the PA is called terrorism. Showing fear only encourages this type of thing to happen again. So the chief of staff in his efforts to being politically correct is endangering lives. So what happens now to this 'policeman' who shot, that's what I want to know. A little slap on the wrist?
4. praying in the morning suspicious?
to obserber #2 ,   Israel   (05.29.11)
if so, the IDF should also considerArab praying suspicious. and by the way according to your standars all Israel are settlers, but know this, we are not giving our land back to the brithish nor do they want it.
5. Oh, if we could all have that family name
Israeli ,   Israel   (05.29.11)
6. With barak as d.m. and gantz as c.o.s.
jason white ,   afula, israel   (05.29.11)
I am going to order a white flag from france. So the terrorist cops shot at the Jews with intent to hurt. Does anyone shoot at people with the intent not to hurt? Perhaps with the intent to kill!
7. Gantz isn't saying anything
Israel   (05.29.11)
The PA didn't intend to shoot but did as caught off guard. How is that different than a "mistake" as they claimed? I don't see any difference.
8. #4 it's seriously suspicious
observer ,   Egypt   (05.29.11)
if you break into your neighbor's house WITHOUT permission in the early hours of the mourning in order to pray.
9. Let's call it by its name: Palestinian Authority's terrorism
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (05.29.11)
The armed forces of the "moderate" Palestinian Authority went out purposefully to murder Jews, only because they are Jews.
10. What's with the new coward of a Chief of Staff?
Chuck ,   USA   (05.29.11)
I t was a terrorist attack period. Call a spade a spade! If you are the Chief of Staff then act like one, and stop being a pussie!
11. Wait until Pali have a state...
Anna M Sedda ,   Rome-Italy   (05.29.11)
No Israelies would be allowed to walk in Samaria and Judea...Say NO to Palestinian state!!!!!!
12. to call them worshipers is lashon harrah
observer ,   Egypt   (05.29.11)
if their worshiping didn't prevent them from overrunning the checkpoint, it cannot be called worshiping.

15. in this case
nimrod ,   israeli   (05.30.11)

16. my name
joe ,   usa   (05.30.11)

i have come to understand and agree with # 13 .
19. please hear me
egypt ,   observer   (05.30.11)
if he did murder the jew on purpose, then how do you know all PA police are like him? I personally would not want to mess with the great YUSEPH and his people whom pray by his tomb. Please hear me and understand my people.
20. double standards
abdalla   (05.30.11)
21. more observing
sam ,   uncle sam   (05.30.11)
to all whom are having an observing tea party: I support all the jews who pray in any holy place especially the tribe Yosef Hatzaddik! Livnat was killed in cold blood! This is no "mistake" here at all. May we merit moshiach amen!
22. Another chief who sticks his head in the sand
David ,   Israel   (05.30.11)
Just what we needed: another so-called Chief of Staff who sticks his head in the sand and thinks his primary job is appeasing the Arabs.
23. tikkun haklali just say it
shem ,   is   (05.30.11)
may we merit to be shmirat habrit amen!
24. How many Palestinians have the IDF shot intentionally?
Marcus   (05.30.11)
The IDF shoot farmers and fishermen on a daily basis, just because they happen to be Palestinian. When the Palestinian police shoot dead an illegal settler for breaking the law, then all hell breaks loose, and it's called terrorism - that's Israeli hypocrisy in the extreme.
25. reminds me of the LAX EL AL massacre right after 9/11
Max   (05.30.11)
The Americans would not admit, still don't that it was a terror attack. But it's one thing if the USA is politically correct in parts: we know this. But for Israel and the IDF to fall into the same error, that is fatal. There is no remedy for that...
26. @24
Edgar ,   Israel   (05.30.11)
"The IDF shoot farmers and fishermen on a daily basis"....???!!! And where did you come across this neat little statistic?
27. wasn't collateral damage on all accounts
observer ,   Egypt   (05.30.11)
On January 4, 2009, the second day of Israel's ground offensive, at around 10:30 a.m., an IDF drone launched a missile at two boys playing on the rooftop of a two-story home in downtown Gaza City [GPS 31.51243/034.45655]. IDF statements and media reports also report no fighting in that area at that time; Israeli forces did not enter central Gaza City until later in the ground offensive. Because the house is surrounded by taller buildings in the center of Gaza City, it is a highly unlikely site for firing rockets, and it would be a poor location for artillery spotting or reconnaissance. more than 5Km from the nearest military encounter.

john Darren ,   cairns-Australia   (05.30.11)
Surely you can come up with better BS than that.If true, then all your farmers and fishermen would be dead. You must be a baker-right?
29. #12 NON- OBSERVER
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (05.30.11)
Lashon Harrah, is the tripe you constantly put out about situations you've never seen or witnessed, that you have made a constant flow of false reports about Surely, your memory isn't that lousy that you fail to remember the stuff you posted, which you took from reliable sources and then altered it to support your batches of outright lies Don't be bashful, ask, I'll post them again Your most obvious falsehood is that you're in Egypt, we know you're hiding in your mommy's basement hidng behind a computer
30. #2 NON-OBSERVER
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (05.30.11)
The actual intention of the Jews that went to pray, was to wake up Joseph in time for breakfast Keep it up, they'll come and get you committed
