Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (06.01.11)
Armed or not, masses of individuals breaching a nation's borders is an act of aggression. It must not be tolerated. Lebanon, the UN and others have been warned; they bear full responsibility if there are casualties.
9. Marching over another country's borders is an act of war

If Syria and Lebanon don't reconsider the folly of this plan, then I'm sure Israel will give them another 6 days to cry about.

"Meanwhile, UNIFIL is reportedly pressuring the LAF to adhere to Resolution 1701 which stipulates that Palestinians are not allowed to go beyond the Litani River." Well well. Lets send Tzipi to take care of this. She is the cause of making us laughing stock of the world. Shame.

(06.02.11)
19. To #11-Lebanese Hypocrasy and Distortions
Andi ,   israel   (06.02.11)
Actually it was his grandparents that were refugees, not the demonstrator so what has 194 got to do with it. Also Lebanon's treatment of Palestinians is absolutely appalling, not giving them rights to work, no citizenship after 63 years, even when 2 generations born in the country, lack of freedom of movement etc etc. And Nasrallah squeals ""We must stand beside the deprived Palestinian people. This must remain at the center of our attention as peoples and as a nation. " The hypocrasy is unbelievable and its not surprising they want to get out of Lebanon.
20. Fear?
jerri i ,   nyc   (06.02.11)
Why do your writers keep writing that the IDF or government fears that the Palestinians will do this or that? Fear encourages them to do this or that. Just say the government is preparing for whatever the Arabs are planning.
21. #11 What type of tea are you drinking?
Phil ,   Ireland   (06.02.11)
UN Resolution 194 is not a Security Council resolution as you stated and is not legally binding. UNSCR 194 is about Cyprus, so let the refugees go there. They have as much right as to go to Israel. The Arabs have always refused to negotiate peace which was also required so UNGAR 194 is dead.
22. Very effective tactics
Chris   (06.02.11)
Particularly at the ceasefire line on the Golan. Questions just eactly where the borders are, and leaves Israel in a no win situation as they open fire on Palestinians. Keeps Israel in the spotlight and again re-opens discussions on where exactly are Israel's internationally recognised borders Couple that with the mass fly in due at Ben Gurion in July the flotilla in June the next three months are going to be very warm for Israel.
23. Keep gloating, Chris, the dogs bark and >
HaifaGuy   (06.02.11)
the caravan moves on.
24. There is a higher meaning to all this farce:
HaifaGuy   (06.02.11)
Our zombified neighbors are there doing what they're doing to keep us, Jews, fit and united. They are our fitness instructors, militarily, socially, politically, morally... Just like living among goyim made the diaspora Jews many times superior to their host nations, our Arab cousins are here to ensure we don't turn into another Finland or, worse yet, something even more decaying like Belgium. None of this intensive training is much fun, but we gotta do what is commanded upon us - remain a cutting edge socio-historical experiment with no option for failing. So, inspite of all the pain, grief and suffering (or just plain inconvenience) the Arab thrust against Israel causes us, we must stand tall and push on. We shall overcome!!!
25. 22 Chris. Just a great reason not to return the Golan
Eran ,   Singapore   (06.02.11)
Just a great reason never to return the Golan
26. wrong pic
John ,   england   (06.02.11)
First of all that pic is not from the Lebanese-Israeli border it's in the region of Joulan (Syrian-Israeli border). Hence, no Hizbolla there... Anyway I just want to say to both sides, you have two different backgrounds and whatever one is going to say will be interpreted by the other in his own way... Just remember one thing: You have to give a little to take a little! PEACE!
27. who's gighting who
someone ,   palestine   (06.02.11)
the zionist jews(not all jews) are fighting muslims when they decided to evacuate palestine land from their original people and ;ater on in 1948 declare israel..there were no fight between muslim and jews in the 19th century.
28. Civilians against civilians Jews should peacefully block all
Mo ,   israel   (06.02.11)
29. "the civilian nature of the events..."
William ,   Israel   (06.02.11)
It stopped being a "civilian" event the minute HIzbullah got involved in it, and the intention of the protesters was to violate the sovereignty of another nation, a nation they demand be dismantled.
30. #11 - "shooting the UN"
William ,   Israel   (06.02.11)
Like what Arabs did in Lebanon the other day, and that periodically happens in Gaza? These are not refugees. These are Lebanese citizens of "Palestinian" ancestry. No one in these photos looks 65 years or older. Had Arabs actually accepted UNR194, this issue would have been solved, but you didn't and UNR194 is defunct. One of the major parts of UNR194 is the end of aggression against Israel and accepting it in coexistence. Arabs still haven't done that so stop crying about UNR194 and enjoy the violent and often unloyal population increase that is the "palestinians"
