31. It won’t be “embarrassing”
Stephen in New York   (06.02.11)
It won’t be “embarrassing” to deny provocateurs entry.
32. No-fly list?
Mike B ,   London   (06.02.11)
Surely many of these so-called 'activists' will already be on a no-fly list? Just deny them boarding at their airport of departure.
33. "Refugees"
Jacob Erickson ,   Holon, Israel   (06.02.11)
Any "refugee" that has the time and money to just fly to Israel to sit in the airport till they get sent home wouldn't want to move to "Palestine" and are happy where they area already.
34. Counter-protest
R ,   Israel   (06.02.11)

35. So they'll be sent back - What a waste of holiday time
Talula ,   Israel   (06.02.11)
Sitting in a detention center at Ben Gurion airport. Morons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND, even after they have all been kicked out the country, nothing will change. All for nothing.
36. Do not send them back
Roy ,   Miami   (06.02.11)
untill each of them pay a fine of 500$ each to get on the plane.
37. New Visa Conditions
B.A. ,   Sweden   (06.02.11)
In the Israeli tourist visa request there need to be a line of questions like these: “Are you, or have you previously, been a member of any anti-Israel organization? Are you, or have you men associated with ISM, or any other “Palestinian” support group? Is your intention with your visit to Israel to participate in any actions or manifestations against the State of Israel or her policies? BE AWARE: any affirmative answer will exclude you from entering Israel now and 5 years to come. BE AWARE: False information given will result in jail sentence of six month and a ban from visiting Israeli territory for ten years."
38. Protesters flying in? What the...
Ayelet HaShachar ,   Maale Adummim, Israe   (06.02.11)
Can someone please explain to me why we are allowing 500 Arabs to break the blockade with our own planes??? Free speech (to the extent that we have it in this country) does not extend to an obligation to welcome people into our country to destroy it!!! Another self-destructive move on the part of Israel.
39. #28 actually they were more than arabs who left
(06.02.11)
40. Did they get an Israeli visa ?
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (06.02.11)
41. You don't get it do you
Chris   (06.02.11)
It is all about publicity Israel plays on supposedly being the only democratic country in the middle east, thousands of people held and then deported will result in headlines across the road and further erode Israel's standing. Meanwhile people who genuingly want to get to israel won't be able to because the airlines are all booked up. Yees good news for the airlines but dire news for the Israelis who rely on tourists for their jobs.
42. Love the idea that passport details be faxed to Israel
Chris   (06.02.11)
The United Kingdom government is really going to allow that to happen after the murder in Dubai Yet another person who doesn't live in the real world

44. Roy of Miami
Chris   (06.02.11)
I know it is the Jewish way to seek profit from any situation, but imagine the headlines if families refuse to pay the $500 and their relatives start talking to the western media that the socalled democracy of Israel is holding men women and children incommunicado, without charge despite the fact they have return tickets to wherever.
45. Son of Yaffa no 26
JUDAH THE LION   (06.02.11)

47. Make them know its their last visit
BlacklistThemForever ,   china and israel   (06.02.11)
I hope they enjoy their one and only visit to Israel's Airport not to the country of ISrael put them on a blacklist never ever to be admitted on a plane even heading this way they should know the coffee at the airport is expensive
48. Are they flying EL AL or Arkia?
(06.02.11)
How about contributing to Israel's economy while you're at it? Also great security granted. You won't have to be afraid that an Arab terrorist will blow himself up, or kidnap the plane, or smash it into Azrieli.
49. Any wonder?
Tim ,   Brighton   (06.02.11)
Thats because the likes of Hamas have absolutely NO IDEA how to run, build or develop a nation So what do they say? Well try taking over another! As for the Palestine Solidairity Campaign in the UK? As one friend who attends their planning meetings from time to time has told me....They have but one obsession. but one agenda but one raison detre. How to hurt Israel and the Pro Israel community in the UK. PERIOD Not ONCE has there ever been any debate, any discussion, any interest in furthering peace, in nation building, in statehood. And bear in mind they are not all Palestinains but a hotch potch of so called intellectuals, students union officials anarchists and activists with a virulent anti Jewish agenda dressed up as Anti Zionism. And in using the word virulent - I choose my words carefully
50. Record year for tourism boosted! (end)
Reuven ,   Israel   (06.02.11)

ghostq   (06.02.11)

52. to make the mess complete
Yaëlle Schlichting ,   Raubling, Germany   (06.02.11)
Yesterday I read a short "talkback" on the economic situation of Jerusalem, Joblessness etc »Haredi + Arabs -> state of Jerusalem« (or so) +++ so why don't the Haredi of Jerusalem have the Idea to pray on the Temple Mountain on Naska day in response to Palestinians trying to violate Israels borders? +++ Publish it well in advance on facebook to let the Arabs know, what would be ahead, if they don't accept a free and democratic state Israel.
53. ticket to Israel?
Ayne Klum ,   land of the Fleeced   (06.02.11)
Sounds like a unique way to make Aliya; Do they give you ticket and money? How can I sign on. Jobless, old in the land of the free so no way to get to Israel. NBN courts only those well off. no help there.
54. Lenin said
Raphael ,   Netanya   (06.02.11)
"I could never have started a revolution in Germany: if I ordered Germans to assault a railway station, they would buy platform tickets". Did the Arabs turn into Germans?
55. re Roy of Miami
Martin ,   New York   (06.02.11)
Hey Chris, I know it's the CHRISTIAN way to both malign and murder Jews or in less intoxicated moments bemoan the murder of Jews by other "misguided " Jews, but here is a serious lesson: Jews are now in THEIR land and there ain't nobody there to take your BS anymore. NEVER AGAIN!
56. To: No. 19
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.02.11)
One does need a visa to enter Israel. Israeli Arabs travel on Israeli passports; West Bank Arabs, being Jordanian citizens, travel on Jordanian passports (the ersatz "Palestine" Authority tried to issue travel documents, but no country in the world recognizes such documents as legitimate). The foregoing notwithstanding, I doubt very much that 500 ersatz "Palestinians" will drop everything and fly to Israel on June 4 and 5. But even if they did, they will be denied entry unless they can prove legitimate reasons for travel to Israel -- Israel has very skilled interrogators and it wouldn't be very hard to winnow the wheat from the chaff -- six or seven questions should do the trick. Such a long way to come only to turn around and go back on the next available flight.
57. Let them come...and release airport security on them
William ,   Israel   (06.02.11)
Let Airport security at Ben Gurion question them heavily for 5 hours (like they do everyone else) then put them in a holding cell before sending them back. Then they can try the "Massive swim-in" starting from Turkey.
58. The mis-perception they have...
William ,   Israel   (06.02.11)
is that walking into Israel is just so easy to do. They haven't paid attention to the thousands of "Palestinian" terrorists who have tried the same thing for 63 years and failed. Being a civilian doesn't afford you rights that trump basic sovereignty. My advice for them is - try it first on a "friendly" nation, like Iran or Italy, and see what happens.
59. #15 - they way they paint Israeli security....
William ,   Israel   (06.02.11)
you'd think it was Kevin Bacon (as an ROTC soldier) in Animal House. An image of all these "civilians" flooding the Israeli border and a few soldiers saying "stop. please go back. c'mon - I'm getting angry. be nice" Idiots.
60. #19 - did you have drive-by shootings in Mississipp
William ,   Israel   (06.02.11)
or suicide bombers killing civilians based on ethnicity during the civil rights movement? No, you didn't, so the comparison is moot. The wall, which wasn't there in 2000, brought suicide bomber infiltrations down to zero, saving lives, and even making Jenin safer (according to the mayor). "Segregated highways" - there wasn't even a roadblock in 1999 but when drive-by shootings of anything looking Israeli (including Israeli Arabs) by terrorists begun, Israel under the law is obligated to do something. You forget that since 1920 Jews were being targeted for their ethnicity, the same way Blacks were targeted in the South at the same time. Glad to see racism hasn't ended in the South, it's just re-directed.
