1. are they scared???/
shosana ,   israel   (06.03.11)
yoppi! there is a time to orgenize a march to leabanon border and protest UNIFIL's lack of actions in order to prevent hizbulla from arming themselves????
2. Naksa vs. Nakba
Huh ,   Israel   (06.03.11)
Is that the Ashkenazi pronunciation? Like Kosel? First year they ever called it that.....
3. open fire at unarmed people??
Daniel ,   UK   (06.03.11)
4. PROTESTS??????????????????
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (06.03.11)
I think when people are throwing rocks the size of golf balls, baseballs and Molotov cocktails, that goes beyond the word "protests", don't you think? This is the next wave of Pallywood, a premeditated attempt to vilify Israel, again. So we'll see young kids out front, with their older bothers, cousins, uncles etc. hiding about half a block behind the kids, like cowards! They have guns and firebombs, cynically hoping the IDF or Israeli police accidentally shoot a kid. The Sick puppies are back.
5. #3, try running across a border
Danny   (06.03.11)
6. Shoot at unarmed people?
Mitch ,   USA   (06.03.11)
Absolutely. Borders are sacred. If they cross, they know they are risking their lives. If they get shot, not Israeal's fault it is their own.
7. if a stranger was invading my home i would shoot them
eric ,   texas, usa   (06.03.11)
israel i'm with u.
8. #3 Daniel
Phil ,   Ireland   (06.03.11)
During the troubles in Northern Ireland, if anyone ran across the border in either direction where there were patrols, they would have been shot whether they were armed or not. Why should Israel behave any differently?
9. #3 can Israel survive ?
Marcel ,   Florida   (06.03.11)
Little restrained poodles won't survive in this hostile neighborhood. The world like the hypocrite Daniel who says nothing about Yemen and Syria's Assad mowing down his citizens in the streets of Syria are quick to tell Israel what it can't do when it comes to dealing with the death cult jihadists. Israel needs to show some teeth instead of following the failed appeasement and surrender approach while you still can.
10. In nthis instance I have absolutely NO HESITATION
Tim ,   Brighton   (06.03.11)
That any breach of the border constitutes a violation that can be met legally and morally with lethal force Legally Israel is within its full rights to exercise such force. And morally given this is not isolated but a concerted planned attack on Israels frontiers And any fatalities are the full complete and sole responsibilty of the perpetrators. Israel needs to ensure that this message gets across to the organisers, the participants, the UN, the Media and World Governments now
11. Do not leave Israeli soldiers exposed to gunfire.
nero ,   nyc   (06.03.11)
Some of the demonstrators will come armed and ready to kill or kidnap soldiers. Do not leave them exposed before the demonstrators. Let us not endanger a single Israeli.
12. Drop Snakes On Them.
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (06.03.11)
13. No. 2
Ron ,   Israel   (06.03.11)
According to my sources, Nakba means "catastrophe" and refers in their jargon to their loss in the 1948 war. Naksa means "setback" and refers to their loss in the 1967 war. I don't know if they have other words for their other losses.
14. Important to Syrian Military! Seem Lev!
shrinkDave ,   miam usa   (06.03.11)
To all Syrian military personnel: Make sure that all of your bomb shelters are prepared and have plenty of fresh toilet paper on hand because you will need it on Happy Naksa Day! Have a Naksa Day :-)
15. commemorating getting their...
Eldad ,   New York, USA   (06.03.11)
...butts whooped in 6 days; funny!
16. Naksa , Nakba , Nakaka or Lollipop
Philippe Delaporte ,   Marseilles France   (06.03.11)
They may suck it but will never get it. Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel forever and ever. Israel is the Homeland to the Jewish people , If any arab has any claim let him go to Gaza , Jordan , Syria , Egypt or the palestinian territories. Enough ink is being spilled for the propaganda against Israel all over the world, it is time to use strength to push back any new arab / palestinian demand
17. Number 12 - Echis Carinatus
John Casterline ,   Omaha USA   (06.03.11)
Be sure to drop the proper species on the border attackers. Echis Carinatus is the worlds most wicked and relentless attacker . It kills thousands of people every year. This snake has a very explosive character. It has no patience and will attack anyone who comes near it.
18. mines,attack dogs,barbed wire,the possibilities are endless
(06.03.11)
19. #8 & #9
Daniel ,   uk   (06.03.11)
Let it be known that I served two years in the IDF in armoured corps as a tank driver. Dear Marcel from Florida, what service have you given to Israel? Screw you!
20. Battering ram
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (06.03.11)
The naksa march on the Zionist state and other such marches in the future are like a battering ram of historical times. Eventually these will succeed in bringing down the Zionist state through people power, and justice will be reign in the Holy Land. Sometimes determined masses of people can accomplish what military might cannot. For recent examples, one need only consider Tunisia and Egypt. The days of Zionist hegemony over the Holy Land are numbered!
21. To #13.
RobJohn ,   Seattle, Wash.   (06.03.11)
Yep. They have another "word" for their other losses. Its called. "Oh No, We Lost Another One. Not Again.!!"
22. Next Big Preparation, "NAKSU" DAY
E ,   United States   (06.03.11)
This is where palestinians march on Israel protesting their use of Hummus as a condiment for foods. Two weeks later will be NOKUKU day. But they have yet to figure that reason, but its coming!
23. to # 13
David ,   herzlia,Israel   (06.03.11)
\Another word would be : losers, losign every opportunity to make peace, started with rejection of partition in 1948, then Khartoun : the 3 No's in 1967, then second intifada organized by Arafat who was offered 97% of the west bank, muslim parts of Jerusalem , etc etc etc. Once again. LOSERS !!
24. #19 Daniel
Edwin ,   Canada   (06.03.11)
As a Canadian, I want to thank you for your service in being a front-line of defense against the hordes who intend us (The West) all harm. I also want to thank you for your apparent compassion for the enemy, however misplaced I believe it to be. It is this compassion that separates Jews from the Arab. As for Dear Marcel, he is a Christian living in Florida who likes to direct Israeli affairs from afar. He means well.
25. Unlikely That Cooler Heads Will Prevail
Douglas Fireman ,   Chicago, USA   (06.03.11)
If the Palestinians want to march on Sunday, then hopefully they will march peacefully. Not likely though. In 1967 the Arabs were defeated and lands were rightfully confiscated by Israel. Who in their right mind would give back land that would strategically endanger Israel? Hopefully peace-loving Palestinians will not be sucked into the dangers of putting themselves at risk on Sunday. Hopefully cooler heads, rather than the fundamentalist rage that Palestinian leadership and their cohorts incite, will prevail on Sunday. All marchers are completely responsible for their own actions. They have been warned. Urged to place their lives at risk, their murderous leadership hides out in protective bunkers Consider the thousands killed by dictatorial governments during the Arab Spring. Palestinian Leadership's ulterior motive for the March is to increase this number. For them propaganda takes precedence to lives. As leadership monitors the Sunday event from their protective bunkers, how many Palestinians will be killed. How many will be laying in cold graves on Monday?-20, 50, 100??
26. ISRAEL SHOULD MARK THE SAME DAY "LIBERATION" DAY
Andrew ,   Miami,FL   (06.03.11)
BECAUSE THE CUNTRY AND JERUSALEM WERE LIBERATED
27. Re: Daniel
CC   (06.03.11)
You would say that, wouldn't you?
28. Naksa and Nakba
judith ,   rishon letzion   (06.03.11)
no #2, The Nakba, or catastrophe, according to the Arabs, refers to the rebirth of the Jewish State of Israel. The Naksa, or setback, refers to the Six Day War, when Arab delusions of destroying Israel were 'setback.
29. #19 Daniel. Fair enough but....
Phil ,   Ireland   (06.03.11)
You didn't answer my question. It is normal for border patrols to open fire and ask questions later when faced with infiltrators across the border, especially in a conflict zone. The infiltrators don't have to be armed for this to happen, they just have to disobey a direct order to stop. Why does Israel have to behave differently?
30. #20 Usual delusions
Phil ,   Ireland   (06.03.11)
You really need to get some help with your delusional ramblings. There won't be masses of people overthrowing israel. The examples you cite are internal disputes, not a threat from outside the borders.
