It is Israel's to keep, settle, and even annex -- that's coming. And when it does, the Arabs who reside therein will be repatriated to Jordan, country of their citizenship. I'm sure the Jordanians will be more than happy to give the ersatz "Palestinians" hope for their future and dignity. Or perhaps not -- they did kick a lot of them out in 1970, but perhaps things have changed since then. Whether they have or have not, they will no longer be Israel's concern.

You are assuming the reason for the conflict is the blockade of Gaza and occupation of the West Bank. This is a bad assumption. As has been repeated countless times by the Palestinains themselves, they view ALL of Israel to be the "occupation". Handing over the West Bank and ending the blockade of Gaza would not stop the conflict. It would not even reduce it by one bullet. Hamas openly and officially call for the killing of Jews by Muslims and they were "democratically elected" into power in Gaza. Do you think they would just forget this if the blockade was ended? You ignore the facts for some pie in the sky solution which doesn't make any sense.
