31. The US WILL build its embassy in Jerusalem
Nour ,   Palestine   (06.04.11)
However, it will be called the US Embassy, Jerusalem, Palestine. Now stop sobbing & obey International Law.

Do you possibly live in the Denver metro area somewhere? I have a brother in law who lives there. My brother in law is hateful and ignorant. Just wondering?
33. raf #7 and what was the excuse prior to '67?
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (06.04.11)
Our capital has been Jerusalem since 1949 and yet during that time the US has refused to recognize it. No the Arab occupation of our lands needs to end. They are stealing land that has never been theirs and is against international laws.
34. Who cares ?
Yossef   (06.04.11)
35. #27 International Law
Ralph Levy ,   USA   (06.04.11)
I take it personally.International Law does not say what you said. International Law says this. Eugene Rostow Under Secretary of state author of UN resolution 242 wrote in 1991 that Israel and Jews had a right to settle the West Bank, and that the British Mandate cannot be rescinded. He also said that Israel was not required to go back to the 67 borders.
36. See Zionists....... even for Mama America ;
Salma ,   Palestine   (06.04.11)
Tel Aviv is your capital : )
37. To Harold, aka:#20
Gideon Reader ,   USA   (06.04.11)
I'm with you man. How dare they take , no. STEALthose lands of those poor suffering people who had their capital there for thousands of years. And boy, they must have had a really crappy military to be so easily beaten by a bunch of Polish JOOOS. Loyal subjects of King, or President, or Chariman of the bored, what's his name again. And those great holiday weekends spending their hard earned, I forget the name of the currency they used. Buying all of those things they produced, and writing books and plays and songs in their alphabet (Hmmm.Sounds like Aleph Bet, but what do I know?) and making all those wonderful scientific and medical discoveries and painting and sculpting and whatever. Well just go to any old Dig and find leftovers; reminders of all of those, dare I call them Jerusalemites? Nay!! Fie! al Qudsiites? Ah yes. I can see them now, gayly dancing the Houri around the campfire, celebrating their lives and the sanctifying name of the mud doll they loved so dearly (this was all long before Big Mo, so no foul no fowl, nachon?). But not as dearly (wink, wink) as they loved their sheep.
38. #11 "East" Athens should belong to the Turks

39. US Seeks Muslim Conquest of Jerusalem (and All Israel)
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (06.04.11)
that is why the U.S. does not locate their embassy to the holy, eternal Jewish city of Jerusalem. There NEVER was an Arab country of Palestine. Jerusalem was NEVER the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. In all of history, Jerusalem (and all Israel) was NEVER a sacred place for Muslims.
40. #10, We the People have some brains left
Michael ,   California, USA   (06.04.11)
We the People know Israel cannot survive in total isolation. The borders need to be open for People to travel, to exchange artists and academicians, to buy and sell businesses internationally. We the People know Obama's first responsibility is for the United States and if the move of the capital to Jerusalem needs to wait, it is a minor issue. We the People are flexible and understanding, we want to continue friendly relations with the United States, the only true friend we still have in the world. We the People want an end to the conflict in the Middle East even if it will mean an imposed peace from a friendly country, from the United States, a peace with security. We the People understand that United States promotes peace, are clear that secure peace is the right thing for Israel to strive for. We understand the United State voters for President Barrack Hussein Obama have empowered him, have given him the mandate to help Israel achieve peace with its neighbors. And we do not expect the United States President to forgo what is in the interest of his country, the United States, for the sake of Israeli inconsequential symbol that Jerusalem is.

Sounds like a couple of US goverment paid George Soros flunkies to me in my opinion. They are not Israelis.
42. #40 Michael: Marxist dreamer
Thomas ,   USA   (06.04.11)
You represent the 60's "New Left" convoluted mentality, the "We are the World" Leftist crap. You are oblivious to the daily mayhem, bombing, rioting within the Islamic countries, from Bali as far as Morocco and between. Islamist mob regularly burn cities in Europe like Paris, but the Obamabots, worshipers of the Kenyan Jesus, keep parroting the inane leftist crap that Soros of Hungary inculcated into their mind. The US is not the Kenyan - there are normal people as well - and his majesty cannot impose squat on anybody not even if start bombing everybody. Does he think he's the King of the World? Even the Bipartisan Congress showed him the bird when Netanyahu spoke. How is your Afghanistan, Iraq etc. adventure is going? "You the People" you are nothing more than the copycat Pink Code Obamabots.

You are so right-it's best that it moves to another part of the same country because the location is more beautiful.
45. to 40 -Michael
john Darren ,   cairns-Australia   (06.05.11)
Post again after the next US elections. So you think that Jerusalem is an inconsequential symbol of Israel? I am not going to bother answering about that comment-Ynet would not allow me.Have a Salma/Nour day.
46. #27 - explain how Intl law prevails here?
William ,   Israel   (06.05.11)
Even if you can claim that E. Jerusalem, a part of a city taken during war-time, illegally annexed by Jordan, and flooded with Arabs after ethnically cleansing Jews from their property there... any embassies would find themselves in Western Jerusalem which no one contests belongs to Israel. So, what's the problem?
47. #27 - Jerusalem is Israel's capital
William ,   Israel   (06.05.11)
Even if you focus only on the Western side, it still is Israel's capital. I'm beginning to see cracks in the Leftist position. They endorse the "Palestinian State with Jerusalem as their capital" but no one is endorsing Jerusalem as Israel's capital, even in a 2-State solution. Which means - Arabs are planning to take the whole city and not just the illegally annexed portion. But I guess it's ok because its all politics, right?
48. #40 - "We the people" gave Bibi a standing ovation
William ,   Israel   (06.05.11)
"We the people" continue to speak in favor of Israel to the tune of 80% in the last polling. "We the people" seem to be getting sick of self-righteous Leftist retards dragging the whole country around for their personal agenda. "We the people" plan to speak pretty loudly in 2012.
49. Honestly, who cares where they put it...
William ,   Israel   (06.05.11)
when they veto the "Palestinians" bid for a unilateral State, on disputed land, at the UN, it won't matter if their embassy is on the moon. We're all be celebrating yet another Arab failure.
50. #31 - Intl law says ethnic cleansing is illegal
William ,   Israel   (06.05.11)
which is what happened in Jerusalem to Jews. We're just reclaiming our property and won't be leaving any time soon. Oh, by the way, Intl Law also says you can't flood an occupied/annexed land with foreign nations to change facts on the ground. Looks like all those "Palestinians" who immigrated to West Bank between 1949-1967 will have to go home to Jordan - based on Intl Law.
