It is hard to imagine a more hateful and anti-semitic position being dressed up as morally just. Scotland has taken leave of its senses when it supported this sort of wicked and evil action. The absence of any real condemnation by ANY political party is shocking. If the same comments had been made about Syria or Iran for their killing of children, there would be outrage and protests in the streets and at every mosque about the 'Islamophobia' taking over. But never a word of condemnation of those real crimes against humanity - just hang young girls from construction cranes for 'adultery' for being raped. Yes, they are human. As are we Jews. (There are also those of us who support the terrorists.) But as humans, let's not forget that the Scots have always been kind to the Jews. Growing up Jewish in Glasgow was like growing up Jewish in Bklyn. No prejudice. Your friends knew you had your own holy days and that you'd call in the evening for school homework. Jews settled there mostly in escaping pogroms in Europe. It was cheaper to sail to the UK, then to the US; many wound up staying. There was even a Jewish Boys Brigade Pipe Band in Edinborough. General Gordon of Auchinlech (sp?) was Peter the Great's Ramatkal; because of Gordon, Peter the Great treated the Jews well. As we name our kids Alexander after Alexander the Great, so do we name our kids Gordon after this Gordon. Anti-semitic comments are serious. But at this time we should not blame all of Scotland for this act, nor assume all Scots are agin' us. They aren’t.

We should not blame all scottish folk for the actions of a few.And Jim Bollan is entitled to his opinion but it is a pity that he is somewhat misguided.

I can understand their frustration, but they are really fighting an uphill battle. The first point is to reverse Jews identity...instead of British Jews try Jewish Brits. Next, when you realize that being Jewish first means also identifying with your homeland first, which from this article looks the case, then make the ultimate protest.
