Israel is in a diffetent situation than the Arabs. The Arabs are working/fighting within their own countries Egypt, Syria, et al. The Arabs are external to Israel regardless of residence-it's not a revolt or a plea for reform, it is warfare against the majority Jews. The refugee problem can be solved with deportations as can illegal Arabs. Much like in the US, an immigration problem exists but there is a lack of will to enforce the existing laws to prevent it.

Let's admit it, we have a lot of uncreative dullards with no imagination running the show. Bureaucracies are notoriously unimaginative, that's the bureaucratic mind-set. Here's an idea: Tanker-trucks filled with a mix of raw sewage, chemical agents that induce a burning itching sensation, other chemicals that induce vomiting, & indelible black dye, sprayed at rioters under high pressure.

Tear gas and low intensity sound can work only up to a point then there comes a point where any method used will cause so much pain as to be borderline lethal. Better to use sniper fire on the instigators as was done last week. Israel should also consider maintaining an effective mine field as a barrier of last resort.
