1. Can't imagine it's better than Banias water
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (06.28.11)
When in Israel in '84 and heading toward the Golan, my father urged me to try the waters of the Banias. I did. I can't imagine any better.
2. too expensive, not realistic
cb ,   israel   (06.28.11)
saw it at 14nis/bottle. Are the israeli ready to pay such a price??!
3. Bottled Water
NYC Girl   (06.28.11)
NYC happens to have some of the best water in the country...although I still think it tastes weird in Staten Island. But if you live in a place that has good tap water, just get yourself some plastic bottles and fill them with tap water...because much of the time you're only paying for the snob appeal of the over-priced bottled stuff anyway.
4. cottage cheese
Ethan Schwartz ,   Eilat   (06.29.11)
Maybe the new consumer revolution in Israel will carry on and wasteful consumerism like buying bottles of water will decrease.
5. Naive
shane ,   ElPaso, Texas   (06.29.11)
Evian backwords spells naive! I don't think it's a coeincidence.
6. European water has radioactive isotopes (uranium) in it
Rivkah   (06.29.11)
from Chernobyl and probably more from the Fukushima meltdown that sent radioactive clouds around the earth. The Perrier and Geralsteiner and the Italian mineral waters are radioactive. Ann Coulter's column says some radiation is good for you but I don't know how. What do you do about the plasticizers (phthalates) that leach into the water from plastic bottles? Take a beta-sitosterol capsule daily. What do you do about the radiation in European bottled waters? Take pectasol chelation complex capsules three times daily or take 10 chlorella tablets daily or eat a fresh lemon rind daily.
7. Re: Bottled Water
Conscious Living ,   Australia   (06.29.11)
Bottled water in a country like Israel is understandable, the practice however is still continuing to kill the environment. It is true, you can't take tap water with you on the go, but your own bottle with you filled with tap water, rather than buying a plastic bottle that has a chance of ending up in the ocean, landfill, streets or elsewhere. Let alone the environmental cost of producing the plastic to house the water, the environmental cost to transport it from one location to another, and the environmental cost to refrigerate it. Really, it comes from the tap for little to nothing, why spend many more times on something that is basically the same, but damaging to our environment? I'd encourage you to read this article, agree or disagree :) http://www.consciouslivingandwellbeing.com/opinion/2011/6/22/why-bottled-water-from-the-vending-machine-is-not-a-healthy.html

That's the second time in a few weeks that your quackery has made me laugh out loud. Do you just believe random things that you hear, that have no real scientific basis? As for the water, it's totally unpatriotic to buy this expensive crap anyway. I get a shishia of Ein Gedi for 12 shekels. One of the great things about Israel vs the UK is that most things are actually manufactured here.
