Hahahah you would be so funny if it wasnt to be the harsh reality. The PKK came out of nothing and kurds want Kurditan because they are so save and integrated into turkish or iranian or syrian society. Sorry to say in a harsh way : STFU and I dont give a sh*t who is your best friend and whos not. Killing innocent kurdish men, women and children is business of the Turkish Army since 1923. Dont try to argue because you would lose in any sence. People like you drive me mad. I am from Dersim, so dont tell me there is no killing of innocent kurdish people. We went to parliament and got jailed and hanged for it. Ask Leyla Zana how long she was in jail, just for talking kurdish in parliament, a language wich is much much older than this new turkish language of yours.

have you ever been to Gaza that you are saying Kurds in Turkey are better off than Pals in Gaza? As I wrote before the streets of Izmir (Mustafabey Caddesi, Gundogdu, 1ci Kordon) are l filled with very poor Kurdish women who were transplanted from their villages in Tunceli, Van, Bingol etc. when their villages were destroyed by the ORMAN KORUCULARI (Forest police), selling Nergiz to passing people, holding their hungry babies in their arms. Some are simply begging. Istanbul is not different. If you walk from Hurriyet meydani to Harbiye similar picture of poor Kurds begging for a few Kurus are all over making it very uncomfortable for people to see such a sad scene. I have not been to Gazza after Israel pulled out but I know that Israeli Arabs that I have interacted around Haifa, Yafo etc are pretty comfortable and happy, store owners, restaurant operators etc. Some even dread the idea that one day they might have to live under an Arab rule.

leo ,   usa   (06.14.11)
"Flotilla organizers ask Turkish Jews to tell Israeli government they are willing to subject vessels to international inspection" . Few conditions though. First, ship must be inspected at sea right before waiting to cross into Israeli territorial waters. . Second, inspection must be performed by Israeli experts while the rest of international team must act as observers and only as observers. And that must be strictly enforced. . Third, ultimate decision to let ship in or not to let ship in must rest on Israeli government and Israeli government alone and that includes port of entry. . "Peaceful travelers", if you want to help do it the right way.
40. Maybe this is the proof !! Can't be coincidence
john   (06.14.11)
Erdogan and his government work hand in hand and co-ordinate with the violent terror organization the IHH with provocations. Any so called humanitarian aid "as Gaza already bursting at the seems with everything they need" must 1'st get inspected at Cyprus for any terrorists on board and then sail to Ashdod port for further inspections before moving the cargo by land (hopefully no outdated medicine Etc.Etc. this time)
41. Oh, you don't want violence?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.14.11)
Then don't sail. Seems pretty simple to me.
42. Remember? They said it last time. too!
Jewish Warrior   (06.14.11)
This ship has no weapons! We are peace activists! Only humanitarian aid aboard! IDF commanders believed them, and sent soldiers with pistols and paintball guns for defense onto the ship. Now, they're counting on the IDF to make that same mistake.

Good to know. Know go to a recognized Port and go through customs as everyone does. Turkish Jews are not Israelis and have no say in Israeli government policy or practice. Ask the right people

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.14.11)
Oh, get a grip. The ersatz "Palestinians" did not find Israel at all attractive until the Jews MADE it attractive. They also made up a history which has no basis in fact, and stole the identity as "Palestinians" from the TRUE Palestinians -- the Jews. You live in Turkey; take a little trip to library archives and check out the old Ottoman Empire census records. Arabs were always referred to as "Arabs" or "Bedouins." The Jews were always referred to as Palestinians. As to "inhumane conditions" -- do you have ANY idea what you are babbling about? No, you do not. In that case, please shut up.
46. #40 LEO
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (06.14.11)
It's best that Turkish Jews don't get involved, since if anything should go wrong they'll be blamed and acted against by an Islamist Turkish Government Think of it as the marriage broker who makes a lousy match, the matchmaker gets blamed if the parties don't get along with each other

The only justice Palestinian should get is Justice from the malicious use of Arab refugees by their Jihad-Islamic brothers. Jews don't owe Palestinians anything. Arab culture proves that human beings can be manipulated by repressive governments to feel protected by their self-serving masters and spend their entire lives enslaved by racist hatred of the Jewish boogeyman.

50. To: Leo at No. 39
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.14.11)
I respect your sentiment, but given the fact that the ships planning to sail in this fraudulent flotilla claiming to be bringing "humanitarian aid" to Gaza are pleasure craft and passenger vessels, which are not built to carry cargo, I think that this sail will probably carry the identical amount of "humanitarian aid" as did the first ill-fated voyage of the MAVI MARMARA -- a couple of boxes of expired over the counter medications and some mouldy old blankets. Humanitarian aid? Give me a break! My medicine cabinet holds more humanitarian aid than can be carried on a yacht! The only purpose of this flotilla is to provoke Israel. Israel has on any number of occasions stated quite clearly that it will not tolerate an attempt to breach its fully legal and internationally recognized blockade of terrorist-run Gaza Strip. There are ways to get serious aid into Gaza -- Israel foots the bill (and it's a big one) for most. Israel will be perfectly in the right if it sinks any of the vessels attempting to breach the blockade. Frankly, I hope that that is precisely the outcome. The IHH is a terrorist organization; pure and simple. Strong ties to Al Qaeda, too. They can all join their dear brother bin Laden (may his name be cursed throughout eternity) as food for the sharks.
51. #19 Julia
Anadelfos ,   Athens Greece   (06.14.11)
Dear Julia. You conveniently forgot to mention the same about Cyprus. As you know recently, even the turkcypriots were peacefully protesting against turkish military presence in the island. So all of cypriots ( except the anatolian mainland settlers ) want back their territory which would be sovereign. Because they were expelled from their own land during 1974 turkish invasion, or still live there by inhuman conditions. So before preaching Israel what to do, you better clear your own mess. Iyi axamlar.

While Gaza has high unemployment rate they receive money from EU and UN. However the poor Kurds begging for a few liras around Hurriyet meydani and Harbiyre in Istanbul, around Gundogdu square in Izmir are not receiving any help from anybody. You may be one of the Kurds in Diyarbakir who is lucky but most are not like you. Based on my knowledge and experience about Turkey I even suspect that you may not be from Diyarbakir nor are Kurd.
56. BEN JABO @ 46, I see your point. However, the

problem is if Turkish Jews refuse to get involved they will be blamed anyway. But I did not mean to address the part were Turks would get involved. I wanted to address the idea of international commission.
57. Sarah @ 50, "given the fact that the ...

More the reason to turn MM around after inspection. However, proprieties must be observed in any case. They want inspection? Let's give it to them. . One more detail. It would be best if Israel were to charge serious fee to cover inspection expenses (human and other resources, inconvenience, etc ...) and it has to be paid in advance put in escrow. Everything must look like business transaction instead of political action.
58. #19 - part of "justice" is accepting "truth"
William ,   Israel   (06.14.11)
and there are tons of evidence that Arabs were not expelled from their land by Jews. 1) it wasn't even their land. Ottoman Turkish records proved that years before. 2) most left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier, which they admit to. During the war, there were many UN observers and journalists in the region at the time and NONE of them reported expulsions, war crimes, or anything else against Arabs at the hands of the IDF. You forgot to mention that the Arabs were openly hostile against Jews since 1919 and worked for their ethnic cleansing. Did Kurds work towards the ethnic cleansing of Turks and the destruction of Turkey? Did they begin a campaign of terrorism against civilians before the demand of Kurdish independence was ever brought up? Who are you kidding? Just saying a bad word about Turkey is enough to land you in jail under laws forbidding the damaging of Turkey's reputation.
59. #49 - the UN study ignored one simple thing
William ,   Israel   (06.14.11)
That Hamas is in charge of Gaza and they spend massive amounts of resources on attacking Israel (they officially declared war in 2007) rather than building factories. Before Hamas declared war on Israel, many Gazans worked in Israel. Gaza has little to offer in terms of finished product. Since 2007, nothing has changed except Gazans cannot work inside Israel, and Hamas blew up the one functioning industrial park on the border. And considering the unemployment, Gaza happens to have investors who place millions of $$$ in smuggling tunnels and a new mall with tons of new products just opened there.
