I think that Ismail Haniyeh is the perfect choice to head a Palestinian Unity Gov't. This is the true face of ''Palestine'' - who better than the head of a terrorist organization?
6. Fayyad and Haniyeh - the difference
Mike ,   Israel   (06.14.11)
Fayyad drives the West Bank into debt and Haniyeh drives the Gaza Strip into terror and Islamic fanaticism. Which is the less evil?
7. FUNNY IN A WAY

The truth be told there is no real difference between the two leaders, except one of tactics, not goals. Haniyeh in a sense is the more honest leader, admitting he wants to destroy Israel as Hamas has said numerous times recently. Fayyad is the Wests choice as he presents a more moderate front. But that's all it is, a front. The PLO Charter still calls for the destruction of Israel. Hamas has been more vocal about it recently i.e. calling for reversing the recognition of Israel, not negotiating with Israel etc., but at the end of the day this doesn't really matter. Because we all know, if it comes up at the UN, the USA will veto any proposal for a new entity. So all this is just for PR. But it will reveal how the "unity" government is a joke. As we see by this remark in the London Arabic" "a senior Hamas element said that as far as the Islamist group is concerned, Haniyeh will head the new Palestinian government." The typical, my way, or the highway approach, of Arab governments, yea "unity" government, right!
8. fayyad needs to be ...
oren   (06.14.11)
the head of the new gov`t...hes a good man..brought debt to the west bank i duno... he has been one of the only palestinians to develop and push the people to grow and build infrastructure and economic prosperity which means more jobs which eventually means more moderation to a larger marjority of the population which means kids less likely turning to the street and radical islam to solve their problems and comfort them, not saying its the only reason for them turning to it but a huge one...
9. More proof Palestinians don't want peace with Israel
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (06.14.11)
Most of us Israelis had serious doubts that the Fatah-Hamas reconciliation was a fraud. Here's the proof. There is no question that nomination of Haniyeh means the Palestinians do not want a peace process. The transitional government was supposed to be part of the process aimed at obtaining Palestinian statehood and peace with Israel. Here it is: the Palestinians don't want peace. They want to declare a state without negotiations, and then try to have the world impose its will on Israel. The result will obviously be war, and it is the Palestinians who want it.
10. Why Is The Israeli Government WASTING
Wondering   (06.14.11)
time, money and effort on a TERRORIST like this guy Who Lives in damascus, syria? No peace process and Most of All NO peace partner, not in the past not in the present and NOT in The Future, as this guy would say CHALES (ENOUGH). Israel Knows what to do for the SURVIVIAL of it's People and It's Nation. Hashem Never Forgets a Promise?
