This story reminds me of the disappearance 2 or 3 years ago of a former FBI agent now in business who went to Iran to investigate something for a client and disappeared. Jewish, by the way. Every now and then you hear something in the media, but it’s just another black hole. I always wonder why a Jewish, former FBI agent thought that he could safely visit Iran.

It is so strange that you would mention a Jewish FBI agent. The American press just states that he is an American former FBI agent and nobody has really brought up his religion. Anyhow I kind of agree with you on why would an American ex FBI agent would visit Iran.
