First, the Police should be commended for their work. Irrespective of the circumstance etc, the shooter needed to be identified. Second, bringing before the courts is what the Police should do. Third, the video is reasonably clear in what happened & self defense will be the reason for the shooting. No jury will convict him nor on the evidence provided so far should they. What was the Arab thinking when he appears to attack the Israeli, robbery, murder either one justifies self defense. What a waste of a human life.

He clearly shoots in self defense. The two locals are approaching him and are seen lifting a stone or stones. He had no choice once they started chasing him. The tragedy lies in his presence where he was clearly at risk. If he was where he was not supposed or allowed to be, then he should be prosecuted for that, but he is innocent for shooting in self defense.

I think that anyone would have shot a person running after them in such a fashion. That palestinian could have pulled out a knife for all he knows! If there was no security camera there, then this guy would be spending a long time in prison. The government discourages Jews from fighting back and are ready to have both the police and prosecutors go after those that do. All Jews should be allowed to carry firearms if they do not have criminal and or mental problems. Every city, town and village where Jews live should have firing ranges that are affordable and ammo that is also affordable. Multiple weapons licenses should also be made available and also let people purchase rifles and shot guns. Anyone stealing a weapon or ammo or using it in the commission of a crime should get a 20 years prison sentence with no parole. Having an illegal firearm should also carry a 20 year prison sentence.

While it is true that the police and prosecutor's office do not act justly with these cases the proper thing is still to report the case at the time it happens.It is a testament to the systematic bias of the court system that the majority of Israelis have zero faith in the authorities.
