Add to this the MHP members also who are against all minorities and some CHP voters also who happen to be from old school (Remember the Varlik Vergisi passed by Sukru Saracoglu under CHP rule) unfortunately progressive Turks are in the minority. However certain actions such as 2 years ago in Antalya stoires rejecting israeli shoppers, incidents in a basketball match (I believe in Sivas?) recently the Bycyclist rejected to compete in Isparta all contribute to anti Turkish sentiments. But as I wrote before once Turkish behavior change Israelis will forget immediately.l After all we are a nation that lost 6 million in German gas chambers and today Germany is one of our best friends.
