1. I think israel needs another firm too.ISRAEL ROBOTIC INDUSTRIES.
Saed ,   ,iranian jew   (06.21.11)
We should be able to develop every robot.now is that time.tomorrow will be late.robots in future will prove themselves.we can be world leader in robotics if we invest today.
2. Saed from Iran
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (06.21.11)
Israel has been producing robots that fly for many years. They are called HERON's, unmanned aircraft. Israel is also the primary supplier of mine clearing robots (some are unmanned helicopters) to the entire world. Don't worry, Israel is on top of technology despite all the academic boycotts while the Islamic academia that has no boycotts are nowhere to find in this subject.
3. ???

I wonder who was number # 1?
4. What about Nuke Technology?
Noah Lev ,   hollywoodCAUSA   (06.21.11)
While there is obvious profit to be made, both economically and politically by Israeli military sales, I wonder whether advertising so openly to other countries, is in Israel's best interests? Why could not an Arab/Muslim country purchase through a 3rd party/ Could limitations by Israel be effective? Israel has been predominent in drones for years, but competes with US. The deal to sell planes to China for billions was squashed by US..and the US trumpted sales to Poland. But 7b is not chopped liver either, boycotts by Ireland, the Netherlands, etc., notwithstanding. Of course, selling to Iran or any outfit suspected for the sale, is verboten. Publicity is bad guy.
5. I know we have heron,viper,airmule,hermes 900,skylark,orbiter, in the air,but.....
Saed,#2,3   (06.21.11)
I am searching for that day i don't see our soldiers in battlefield.just robots.we are powerful in air,but on ground we are not(i mean in unmanned vehicles).mines and imrovised explosive devices had a high price for nato in iraq and afghanistan.i don't like to see it for israel too.we should reinforce and search for new technologies.if we don't go forward,we are not stall,we are going backward.we should compete with china not arab countries.

About the former FBI agent who disappeared in Iran. You were surprised that I posted that he was Jewish. The original stories in the media mentioned that he was Jewish.
7. NOT VERY LIKELY
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (06.21.11)
First, Israeli secret service is more than familar with those who would do third party deals, believe me weapons dealers are well known. Second, would Israel sell it's weapons systems with all the bells and whistles? Probably not! Then again if you knew where the weapons were going you could implant a turn off switch, one that is undetectable to the new owners. In fact the weapons Egypt purchased from the USA, is said to have that kind of sabotaged systems, just in case they were to turn them on us. It's a crazy world, but Israel isn't going to sell anything that would be turned on them. Give them some credit.
8. To: No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.21.11)
It doesn't work that way. You aren't rated by country; you are rated by individual product. So an Israeli manufacturer might be rated number one in one thing, another Israeli manufacturer might be rated number three in another thing, and so forth. For a country as tiny as Israel that has only been around in its current iteration for sixty-three years to be in the top five overall is beyond spectacular. The other four are probably the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Germany.
9. To: No. 3 and No. 6
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.21.11)
He is (was?) Jewish. His name is (was?) Robert Levinson. You should be able to turn up something on Google.
10. To: Mark at No. 7
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.21.11)
That is a very astute observation. If Israel puts something up for sale, knowing that a lot of countries don't care about end-user certificates, you can take it to the bank that whatever they are selling has already been surpassed ten-fold. If you are drinking Krug, do you care who gets the Moet?

Just thought it needed saying. Here in the USA we don't sell our fighter jets with all the high tech advancements. We sell a dumb downed version for obvious reasons. We don't want to give our best technology to just anybody. So we don't. BTW I do love a good champagne now and then. Perfect analogy.
12. Competition
Dr. James Murphy ,   MA, USA   (07.16.11)
I totally agree w/taking competition to China, NOT Arabs. It is CHINA that is an exporter furthering Arab nuclear goals...
