Our PM's diplomatic move doesn't mean friendship.Who wishes to have friends that support terrorism?Israel people shouldn't be worried about isolation. Is it better to be supported by hypocrisy?
34. #19: What about the Kurds he has killed?

The IHH terrorists attacked Israeli soldiers on the Mavi Marmara. The ship's security video footage, quite independently of the IDF videos, proves this. The interception was carried out in accordance with International Law. The UN said so! No doubt your support for Erdogan is founded on hatred against Jews and ingrained Antisemitism! No doubt you, like the President of Iran, would like the planet to be Jew Free, Judenrein, the Nazis called it. Now have a good look at Turkey's Human Rights record against the Kurds and then tell Erdogan what a great guy he is. One thing in your TalkbashIsrael was correct though. Many Israelis we not at all happy with the way the Turkish Ambassador (not Consul) was treated.

Dear Ozgur Having spent much time in Turkey and having got to know Turkish people your letter saddens me. You are right that Israel and also Jews have a long history in Turkey. If I am not mistaken, you will learn in the Jewish museum in Istanbul that all of Istanbul came to a standstill out of respect and shut businesses for one day when the Jewish advisor to the Sultan passed away. Our own first PM, David Ben Gurion, studied in Istanbul. There is a plaque in Isticlal. Where you are deeply wrong in my opinion is to condemn Israel as you do. You know full well the actions of your government in the South of your country, you chose to ignore this. On the other hand I also know from the Turkish press that it is hardly surprising you would have such a poor opinion of Israel since you are so mininformed by your own media. Turkey in my humble opinion is now stuck between Iran and Europe and frankly I can see why Iran looks like more a money winner than Europe from a Turkish point of view. What kind of country you want to live in is your choice- personally I don't think an Iranian style government is what Ataturk had in mind. It is a very sad inditement when an Israeli Jewish and Muslim group's SUFI performance in Istanbul was forced to be cancelled. If Sufism in Istanbul cannot be a safe forum to express Muslims and Jews uniting in what they have in common, then what hope is there? Hoping that Turkey and Israel; rewnew their friendship. A big Turkish fan from Israel
