1. More proof Palestinians don't want peace with Israel
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (06.22.11)
If they want peace, why do they keep shooting at us instead of sitting down to peace talks? Forget it, anti-Israel talkbackers - the above is a rhetorical question. They keep shooting at our civilians because they never stopped shooting. There never was a "ceasefire" and their goal (Hamas, the elected government of the Palestinians) is to destroy Israel and kill us all if they can. They don't negotiate because they don't want a two-state solution. Going to the UN is their easy way to exploit a corrupted and recalcitrant UN to create a pseudo-state, then wage more war that will suddenly be "justified" since they'll claim we're "occupying " their "state". Pathetically it makes sick sense, but will lead to obvious war because with time it becomes more and more obvious that their goal never was a two-state solution (which is why Arafat wanted 1 million martyrs to march on Jerusalem and blow themselves up trying to kill us).

Building illegal settlements in the WB = more proof that Israel doesn't want peace with Palestinians
3. #2 gregg
tamir ,   los angeles   (06.22.11)
typical arab apologists response. trying to compare firing a rocket into a civilian populated area with building homes for people is like comparing hitler to nelson mandela. But then again I expect nothing less from people like you. For once I wish a rocket would rain down on your home so that you could feek what it was like for israelis who live in these areas. You disgust me.
4. haifa
caleb afendopouloi ,   israel   (06.22.11)
dear gregg don't forget that Haifa was an Arab city- "first manhattan and then berlin"{as the song goes ifi am not misquoting the names which is basically irrelevant. }

8. I wonder...
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (06.22.11)
When IDF will start to hit some other targets than this tunnels, offices of Hamas, homes of high ranking Hamas officials, Hamas weapons warehouses etc? As you can see you gain nothing with a destruction of a tunnel, there are plenty of them.
9. This is Hamas' way of saying thanks
Chana ,   USA/IL   (06.22.11)
for letting building supplies through. In response to their gratitude, we should sent them a direct strike to the finished buildings. Gregg, Haifa, you're disgusting. Go home!

Boy,are you popular. NOT.
11. Hamas knows that Israel only attacks after they do.
Deebo_ ,   Holon   (06.22.11)
Which is why there was a period of rockets. They obviously needed time to restock. Why does the IDF wait for them to fire before taking out their smuggling routes? Nip that bud.
12. We're still bombing empty tunnels.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (06.22.11)
I bet they called Hamas an hour before to make sure no one got hurt. No wonder we have no deterrence left. We bomb empty tunnels, empty buildings, & open fields. Better yet, listen to the logic of this strike. They bombed a tunnel that they knew about used to smuggle terrorists into Israel. Why didn't they bomb it before if they knew it was there? These strikes are just make-believe to con us into thinking we react. In truth, it's all BS.
13. Destroy ALL tunnels, why endanger any Jews?
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (06.22.11)

15. Draw a line around Gaza and bomb it to bits
israel   (06.22.11)
I think we should somehow build a very very wide moat between Gaza and Israel.
16. To: No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.22.11)
I strongly suggest that you shut your stupid mouth, at least until you garner yourself a law degree. The settlements are fully legal. Israel acquired Judea and Samaria in the course of fighting a DEFENSIVE war against Jordan. Judea and Samaria -- being non-sovereign tereritory acquired in a defensive war -- are Israel's to settle, keep and annex. Make no mistake. Israel WILL annex Judea and Samaria, and when it does, it will repatriate all the illegal Arab squatters to Jordan, country of their citizenship. Like I said -- get a law degree. It might take a while -- you'll actually have to graduate from high school first. Until then, would you mind terribly sparing us your pithy and entirely ignorant and uneducated utterings? Thanks so much.

gregg, what the hell are you doing in haifa? you are so misinformed it is obvious you have been watching too much Press TV ! Go and live in Iran where they have the same opinio0ns as you, only don,t try and say anything you may receive 100 lashes just for having been to Israel!
20. #2 - "palestinians" brought up issue in 2011
William ,   Israel   (06.22.11)
but felt content with attacking Israelis in cold-blood since 1948. Pretty sure the settlements, even though they exist on land ethnically cleansed by Arab of Jews, isn't the problem. Arafat signed the Oslo Accords which allowed for the natural expansion of settlements...and didn't even mention them when he called on Arabs to blow up buses of Israeli civilians in 2000. I guess you conveniently forgot those facts.
21. #2 - Gregg, you're right....we should think differently
William Geller ,   Israel   (06.22.11)
we should stop building in the settlements (even though signed agreements with the "Palestinians" allow us to). rather, we should simply send rockets into civilian center in Gaza City, Rafah, and send bombs on buses into Ramallah, Nablus, etc. That does, after all, level the playing field in the "palestinians" favor, does it not?
