32. Arabs, I will Champion your cause
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (06.24.11)
providing I can find a single Arab of either sex, who can answer the following questions, which would serve to establish your rights to claim the land as your very own I've tried very hard to get the answers,it's making me fee frustrated not getting them I am so fed up about your lot claiming your fictional Palestine as your "Ancient Homeland", without any of your lot able or willing to prove it Here are some rather simple questions, you be the genius and answer some of them, which, will of course prove your claim Explain why neither Palestine or Jerusalem are mentioned in the Koran, though both are mentioned in the Bibles of any denomination Name just three of its kings or rulers. What are their achievements? With which other peoples did the Palestinians interact? Where can one find any records where in the name of the country of Palestine or its people are mentioned? What Archaeological sites can one name? Where can one find the recorded history of these people? Whom did they conquer or were conquered by? Was Palestine ever recognized by a country whose existence, at that time or even now, leaves no room for misunderstanding? Can anyone name at least Five Palestinian leaders before Arafat? Since there is no such recognized country today, what caused its demise and when did it occur? Those who are lamenting the 'low sinking' of a 'once proud' nation, please tell us, when exactly was this proud nation brought down? By whom was it brought down? Also, what was it so proud of? And here are some very important historical facts and further relevant questions: Not even under the Ottoman Empire's 500 years occupation was the name of Palestine used for any part or section of the Holy Land for administrative purposes. If there were an entity called Palestine and its people Palestinians, it would beggar logic and belief that the Muslim Ottomans would not denote the area with their name. The ball is in your court, return it with the answers, just think, you will be the very first that will have been able to do so All the rest ducked away and went into hiding, and there are dozens of them
33. Palestinians Have a State in Jordan
(06.25.11)
The Palestinians cannot have two states. The actual Palestinian State is in Jordan. For those of you who do not know this, check it out. Don't believe those folks who claim Israel is an occupier. It's pure propaganda to gain the sympathy of those who know very little about the facts in the region. The Palestinians had no land taken from them during the 67 war, yet they claim The Israelis are "occupiers." Israel, the only Democratic state in the region, has every right to exist. So do the Palestinians, but the terrorist groups among them will not recognize Israel and threaten Israel with destruction. It is impossible to live near folks who are threatening ones' very existence. Even Zahar, one of the top Hamas leaders. maintains that "occupation" is merely a code word. Hamas and cohorts know that the region does not belong to them, yet they will do anything to refute this truth in their attempt to turn the area into an Islamic state.

35. There is no Palestine in the Al Koran nor in the Bible
Muhammed Al Mutassim ,   Tunis, Tunisia   (06.25.11)
As an Arab, I'm deeply sad for all the evil doings of my countrymen of today and of the past against the Jews. We should be like brothers. Middle East is our home. It is big enough for Arabs and Jews. I welcome you back to your home. And if my countrymen, Inch Allah, would only come back to their senses and return to the greatness of the old Arab caliphate and show the same high culture and tolerance as we once did, then there is hope for the Arabs. We Arabs need democracy, education, clean water, jobs, educated people, schools, hospitals, tourists - anything - yes anything that can build up our poor socities. I'm proud to be an Arab, but I'm not proud of Arab Jew hatred - that evil is below our level. I only wish that the Jews can forgive us. Jews, Fight for Israel, honor your forefathers and keep your head high. And yes, fight the enemy that is trying to take your land. Arabs can live anywhere, but Jews cannot.

Adam ,   Golan Heights Israel   (06.25.11)
Thanks for being honest. Your voice is a drop in the ocean, but every one who speaks up, makes a difference, and maybe gets a few others thinking. Take care..if I were you, I would watch my back. Too many of your fellow arabs will be screaming for your head for your honesty.
37. 35/36 No Americans or French or Germans or even Tunisians
Mark ben Josuf ,   USA   (06.25.11)
There is no mention even of Japan in either the Torah or the Christian Bible or the Quran. So we have to assume Japan and China and France and Tunisia and the US don't exist either? Put down the hookah. None of the books mentions Carthage. But it did exist. So did Britain and lots of other places that were never mentioned. Now tell us the Inca never existed, too.
38. Borders
Luke ,   South Africa   (06.25.11)
As in all borders worldwide, and most of Israel's borders, these should be heavily mined. Those who decide to 'cross' do so at their own peril, without dragging Israel into a propaganda-war.
39. Thank you Muhammed Al Mutassim
Bless israel. ,   United States   (06.25.11)
if only all of your fellow Muslims would feel the same, we are cousins only divided by religion. Jews could be of endless help to you if, we were friends. Who profits from the divide?
40. Bilin protests
Harmen Breedeveld ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (06.25.11)
All those wishing to arrest Fayyad, or thinking about using force against the demonstrations: think calmly before you say such a thing. One of the main goals of these demonstrations is to lure out an agressive Israeli response. The feeling in most of the world is that the fence is at best legally suspect, and at worst a blatant violation of the rights of those living in the areas. Any Israeli agressive response confirms those in Europe, in the Arab world, in the emerging powers that yes, Israel is the aggressor who is violating the rights of those living there. It is very hard to fight against people who protest more or less peacefully for their rights, like the inhabitants of Bilin. So honour the rights of the people of Bilin, honour their determination (because one should respect their tenacity) and try and live together with them. Because hey, they deserve it just as much as Israelis do. The solution, as always, lies in the willingness to see the light in the eyes of the other. Fayyad and the people of Bilin will be willing to do so, why not work with them? Are they really your enemies, or are the extremists your enemies?

BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (06.26.11)
The outside world hadn't been in contact with Japan, outsiders weren't allowed in until Admiral Dewey forced them to do it Arabs knew about what you call Palestine, they also knew about Jerusalem, still, they made no mention of either in the Koran The Torah specifically mentioned what was near and dear to the Jewish people, on the other hand, the Koran made no mention of what you now claim is dear to you A lot of places were off the beaten track, however, the Holy Land was very much on it Oops you forget to mention Tibet & Mars, any reason for the oversights ?
42. 41 Ben Jabo - Ancient Books
Mark ben Josuf ,   USA   (06.26.11)
Books written before the year 1000 don't mention lots of stuff. Today's books won't mention stuff learned in 500 years. When the foundation books of any religion fail to mention something unknown afterward, it is just a reflection of the authors' knowledge and the importance of the subject matter to the authors. Palestinian as they are currently known - the Arab Palestinians didn't develop their self-identity until well into the 20th century. Egyptians didn't think of themselves as Arab in 200 BCE either. That is a more recent phenomena. Tunisians once self-identified as Carthaginians. Lebanese were once identified as Canaanite. New Yorkers once self-identified themselves as Dutch, and later as English, then much later as Americans. As King George help mold the self-identity of New Yorkers, the Israeli government has affected the self-identifications of Palestinians. Things change.
43. # Mark BJ
BEN ABO ,   ISRAEL   (06.26.11)
Since as you say, "Things Change" why haven't Jerusalem or Palestine been added to the Koran as yet You didn't put claim to Palestine until Yasser Arfat came up with the idea about 50 years ago Let me explain it in simple language, that even you should be capable of understanding The Torah was written BEFORE the Jews reached the Promised Land; therefore, Jerusalem & Palestine couldn’t possibly have been mentioned The Romans re-named Judea/Israel about 2000 years ago, long after the Jews arrived and centuries before your Prophet did After the Jews arrived in Israel/Judea, Israel & Jerusalem were mentioned hundreds of times by their respective names Mohammed arrived AFTER the Romans changed the name to Palestine, thus he already knew the then current name of the land, and that of Jerusalem, which he failed to mention even once in the Koran, since it seemed he placed no importance on either of them As for the other countries you mentioned, they were remote and not many people had been in contact with them, so, your mentioning them, proves exactly nothing, therefore they couldn’t have been mentioned in any of the contemporary writings of the era Pls. don’t mention “The furthest Mosque”, that was only a day’s ride from Mecca, they didn’t have fast cars or planes 700 years ago You really have to come up with a better excuse for the Koran not mentioning either Jerusalem or Palestine, Yours falls flat They just discovered a new tribe in Brazil, it has about 200 people, their presence was picked up by satellite, you might want to mention them also As of this very minute, where can I find mention of Jerusalem & Palestine in the Koran ?
