1. Shalit HAS Been Forsaken!!!
Edward ,   Savannah, USA   (06.24.11)
Shalit HAS been forsaken by the world at large, including Israel, for FIVE YEARS now and this article is a farce!!! If France or any other country was all that interested in Shalit, they could have brought pressue against Hamas 5 years ago to release him!!! This is a sham and a great injustice for Shalit when the world/U.N. laments for everyone's Human Rights but Shalit's!!! The only reason Bibi is bringing it up now is that he will be coming up for re-election soon and he needs to cover this base. Otherwise, he could care less about Shalit, just like everyone else!!!

prison-perks, I have to take seriously the French utterances, that otherwise soud as phoney as the myth of French Lover !!
7. Enough about Shalit, what about the Palestinian hostages
Marcus   (06.25.11)
Hamas only hold one IDF soldier hostage, the Israelis hold upward of ten thousand Palestinian men, women and children hostage - mainly without trial - their only crime is not being complicit with the illegal Israeli occupation and confiscation of their land.
8. #5 Neither has Israel, sadly!
Good assed Jew   (06.25.11)
9. @#3 Ottoman Empire?
Lenya ,   Australia   (06.25.11)
Sorry to burst your bubble but the Ottoman empire had nothing to do with any so called Palestinian Arabs. Israel (Palestine) was ruled by the Ottoman Empire and didn't care a hoot about the few Arab farmers roaming the land with their flock of sheep and goats
