And whatever goods the so-called-activists wish to give the Gazans, they can be effectively sent via the Erez crossing from Israel (as are thousands of tons of good transferred every month), or the Rafah corssing from Egypt. Furthermore, since Hamas stopped firing rockets at Israel, Israel didn't have any military operations in Gaza. So given all of this, is this flotilla really necessary? How about, Dr. Lane, making a flotilla to Syria, where people really are oppressed and slaughtered by a tyrant? But that wouldn't be as sexy as blaming Israel, right? Not to mention - extremely dangerous, since unlike Israel - provoking Syria would actually get you killed, as you well know. Dr. Lane, all you and your fellow activists are doing in this Gaza flotilla, is showcasing your extreme hypocrisy and making world-class asses out of yourselves.

A flotilla designed to aide Hamas and its' benefactor Iran. Aiding terrorists, who murder civilians, is not an act of non-violence. Attempting to break a blockade, that keeps me, my family and friends, and MY countryman safe, is an act of outright provocation. I hope our wonderful defense forces sabotaged this boat.
