1. Why would it matter if there was a sign?
Mr. Reasonable ,   Tel Aviv   (06.30.11)
If I was in America i could hang a sign out that said "no blacks" or "no policemen" and be exempt from discrimination laws? what a ridiculous idea.
2. I am glad that the stablishment has been closed.
Keren ,   IL-BR   (06.30.11)
The arab discrimination against Jews in Haifa is blatant and this must end. Israel IS JEWISH and if arabs are not happy among us ,they must get out once and for all,and if they don't, Israel should make the service for them ,every time they behave this way in our country,by kicking them out to where they are happy.
3. what!
IlanaB   (06.30.11)
In ISrael it would be completely insane to have a sign saying no soldiers!!! Are you crazy? All Israelis of every type can enter every place-after a security check of course, which we all are subjected to.
4. $583 in legal fees!

The most amazing thing about this article is the ridiculously small legal fees for the soldier.
5. ??? You could ??? have a policy that NO soldiers could be
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (06.30.11)
served in a restaurant? That is absurd on it's face. Even if they were arabs, the IDF would be there to care for them if there was a gas leak explosion or a hillside collapse or anything else. What crazy people, and how could they open a restaurant without a license in the first place?
6. To: No. 4
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.30.11)
Only because Ropes & Gray doesn't have an office in Israel.
7. Funny thing is they would still be in business if they'd
Henry from New York ,   USA   (01.04.12)
served the guy. If they don't serve soldiers though, they're cutting out a lot of business between the ages of 18 and 21. Seems poor practice.
