Force implies action but those blue helmeted wusses do nothing but observe. They let hezbollah rob them and civilians charge through no-man's land to charge the Israel border, so they are not a force, and particularly not a "peacekeeping force"

The only time they've actually had anything to 'observe' in recent times, and on both days they made themselves highly conspicuous by their absence! However, according to their online 'newsletter' (Google it) they have a wonderful time play-acting fictitious scenarios, and enjoying skiiing in the Hermon (apparantly something about preventing avalanches...has there ever been an avalanche up there?) and generally having quite a jolly old time! For ANY Syrian to think that at ANY point in the future they will have to Golan returned is an absurd notion. Syria is quite large enough: they need not concern themselves anymore with the Golan which they LOST LEGITIMATELY WHEN THEY ATTACKED ISRAEL REPEATEDLY. End of story. You lost the wars, showed TREMENDOUS irresponsibility, inhumane actions and war mongering, proving once and for all that SYRIANS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH TO HAVE THE GOLAN IN THEIR POSSESSION. Syrians should be happy that they recieves SO MUCH of the trans Jordan agreement and simply forget the Golan just as Jordan gave up rights to JUDEA and SUMARIA. As for the UNDOF: They suck and should be tried for illegals acts like providing UN shelters and vehicles to Hezbollah and DOING NOTHING TO STOP ARMS SHIPMENTS TO BOTH SYRIA AND LEBANON. The UN is no longer necessary and should shutter it's worthless doors for a better group of independent orgs that could actually be effective.
