33. THANK YOU GREECE! Activists "singing" LOL!
EZ ,   USA   (07.02.11)
Seriously a misguided and sick group of losers! And STILL: the propaganda about Greece doing Israels dirty work, etc. What's next: r they gonna condemn the UN for condemning them for the flotilla? Does Israel control the UN now!? To my fellow Jews! Isn't it wonderful these fanatics think so highly of us that they believe we control the world!? LOL! Bless Greece! This is a VICTORY FOR THE SANE!!!
34. What a Bunch of Coconuts
Douglas Fireman ,   Chicago, USA   (07.02.11)
"Greece doing Israel's dirty work?" What a bunch of spoiled coconuts. "Dirty work" is a main objective of the activists. They are nothing but a PR stunt organized to provoke and humiliate Israel. Rather than putting their lives in danger, they should visit the Parthenon, have a few nice dinners- a bottle or two of Ouzo and thank the Gods that they are still alive.
35. THE TRUTH ABOUT FREE GAZA MOVMENT:
joan ,   vancouver, canada   (07.02.11)
Co-coordinator Caoimhe Butterly spent 16 days in April 2002 as a “human shield” in Yasser Arafat’s compound and encourages “resistance” activities. Board of Directors member Greta Berlin is a Hamas supporter and made false statements alleging Israeli violence to the media in the wake of the May 2010 flotilla. Mary Hughes Thompson, co-founder of the Free Gaza Movement, wrote about an activist KILLED BY HAMAS: “God bless you Vittorio. Your star will shine long after Zionist Israel is no more.” THEY ARE NOT PEACE- LOVING AS THEY WANT US TO BELIEVE!
36. Hagit the slanderer...
sam1am ,   CA, USA   (07.02.11)
All -- please mark this name Hagit Borer, a bleeding heart leftist hypocrite to defam Israel and Israeli on the editorial pages of LA Times, telling everyone how ashamed she is, the respected linguistics professor from USC of her natvies hometown Jerusalem since Israel took it over and Ethnic cleansed it..... an ignorant professor who does not know the Jerusalem's Arab population grew from 60,000 in 67 to over 240,000 in 2009...so much for ethnic cleansing, she should be ashmed in joining self hating Jews, such as Chomsky, Finkelstein, Amira Hess and gideon Levy, members of the Hall of Shame.
37. Gaza-bound boat: Greeks forced us back
cita sullivan ,   welcome, MD   (07.02.11)
Poor little Hagit Borer, machine guns, helmets, faces covered! "It was scary." What the hell does she think Galid Shalit felt and has been feeling for five long years. I am sick of Jewish-American do-gooders. Any do-gooders for that matter. They just don't get it!
38. So much for Israel's "isolation".
Jules   (07.02.11)
The Greeks have helped once more (remember - they were the first to help fighting the fire ?) Lieberman's hard work of building new alliances now paying off.
39. Response to #36
nadya ,   CA., US   (07.02.11)
These people are not self-hating Jews or anti-semites, they are people who have different opinions and values. That's what democracy and freedom is all about. Stop the name-calling!!
40. Children's song for spoiled children
Harvey ,   London   (07.02.11)
10 little boats floating on the sea 10 "". "". ". "" Then if one little boat should accidentally sink There will be 9 little boats floating on the sea
41. A lawless breed - that is what the activists are.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.02.11)
They are certainly showing the world how lawless and arrogant they are.
42. Greece handled the situation very professionally. Bravo!
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.02.11)
Take note Israel. Greece did not try to board the boat with the activists on it, the commandos carried real weapons and they separated the activists from the journalists. Now that is real efficiency and professionalism. No chaos at all. This sure shows up Barak's incompetence as Defense Minister. I hope they deport the journalists now, impound the boat and auction it. As for the activists, they should be charged according to Greek law and fined heavily or incarcerated. They should also be required to provide their own airfare back home and confined until they do so, which should not be a problem for them. One boat down, eight more to go. Should these continue on to Gaza, they should be stopped at sea at gunpoint. The passengers should be ordered to disembark empty-handed into vessels provided by Israel and placed in handcuffs. If they fail to do so, Israel should fire at the hull and sit back and wait for the boat to sink. So they either leave with the boat remaining intact or they leave a sinking boat. Either way, they leave the boat. No sparring, no nothing. The photographers and journalists must leave first.
43. TO THE LIFE PROTECTION OF GREECE !!E !!
mark ,   t.a. israel   (07.02.11)
MAY YOUR LIFE PROTECTION MINISTRY BE AN EXEMPLE FOR THE ALL MANKIND !!!
44. Greece's Actions Supported!
Sons Of Cyrus   (07.02.11)
Despite our historical differences, on this occasion the Sons Of Cyrus whole heartedly support you! Well done!
45. Thank you Greece !
Marcelo ,   World   (07.02.11)
It is about time great friends of Israel receive thank you from the civilized world. Gaza is owned by a gang of elected terrorists constantly shooting missiles against israeli children with only intent to kill. If there is a willingness to send supplies to gazan people, send it through land, and have the cargo inspected. These boats are trying to reach Gaza by sea in order to avoid cargo inspection by civilized world. It is about time to have the civilized world erradicate these horrific islamist doutrine and allow us, human beings, to leave in peace and in accordance with moral values. Gaza elected immmoral and criminal people, and have to be responsible for that. Israel left Gaza in 2005 to allow these arabs to prosper, left orchards, and farms intact. Gazan people transformed these lands into missile launchers and dirty spoiled indoctrinated gangs. Thank you Greece again.
46. Hagit Borer, you are a looser
Marcelo ,   World   (07.02.11)
What were you doing in this ship ? Helping the gazan terrorists to keep on shooting missiles against israeli children ? You are a shame. When you go to sleep, keep in mind that you have low self esteem, like all your brain washed colleages. Your citizenship should be revoked and you should pay for treason.
47. better late than never
Greek Cypriot   (07.02.11)
It was about time for Greece to wake up and look after it's own interests. It's highly possible that Greece followed the example of Cyprus which last year behaved in a similar clever (and correct) way. It's time you "activists" out there to understand that the world is changing -no more fooling around. What you really care about is your self promotion and not the cause of the Palestinian people. Nobody beleives you anymore. Enough is enough. So, stop this stupid acts and try to persuade Palestinians to reach an agreement with Israel for a lasting peace in the area.
48. The good old days
Eric ,   Chicago   (07.02.11)
What happened to the good old days when we had real beach runners!!! Like the exodus! And the new state of Israel was created by the UN.
49. #11 the WC is stuck in the GUTTER
CK Tan ,   Singapore, Singapore   (07.02.11)
So the WC boldly CLAIMS that "Israeli Bribes (the) Greek Military and Politicians". And what PROOF does he offer? NOTHING substantial that a gutter mind can ever produce - just CHEAP shots and HOT air. Laughable.
50. #11 the clueless WC
Laughable.
51. #3 Leon and his RATTLING marbles
CK Tan ,   Singapore, Singapore   (07.02.11)
Here comes Leon and his NOISY marbles again. He is IGNORANT that the ship BROKE the law when it left WITHOUT proper authorisation from the Greek authorities. In other words, the ship's PROVOCATEURS were CLEARLY hell-bent on BREAKING the law. Then again, it is NOT surprising that Leon feels this way - he believes it is RIGHT to deliberately HAIL and support TERRORISTS and criminals.
52. jgbohemio@gmail.com
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (07.02.11)
Abu selah (Shlomo Kamera). You can have an hero like hamas and hezbolah (I am sure they are not terrorists for you). For you all Jews are terrosits right abu selah?
53. Greece acting like friend of Israel -Yeah!
B. Klein ,   USA   (07.02.11)
Finally a European country acting like a friend of Israel. This is refreshing!
54. #1 - Greece is a socialist hell hole, bankrupt
William ,   Israel   (07.02.11)
and the world is dealing with it with kid gloves. Of course when the authorities in Greece hit terror hard, they are applauded. Israel is never given that opportunity.
55. Are these Leftists for real??
William ,   Israel   (07.02.11)
Let me get this straight.... You were on your way to break an intl law of one country, and in doing so you broke the law of your country of departure, and when that country arrived to stop you (first they negotiated, no guns carried) you told them to piss off and declared you'd resist and leave anyway...and you're surprised you were forcibly stopped?? Are Leftists so absent from reality that they believe they can ignore any law, in any country, any where and all will be well? It sounds like the organizers lied to the "activists" and told them it would be a cake walk and they'd be welcomed as heroes after a free Mediterranean cruise. ISM was directly involved in this and they often lie to their volunteers and teach them to lie to authorities. Life is tough. Better they learn it early.
56. "I never knew Mediterranean was owned by Israel"
William ,   Israel   (07.02.11)
Well...now you know. Bon Voyage.
57. #3 - either way, the job got done
William ,   Israel   (07.02.11)
enjoy your sour grapes
58. #9 - probably the intl definition of "terrorist"
William ,   Israel   (07.02.11)
those who use violence against civilians to obtain a political outcome, and their supporters. So, according to Intl definition, Hamas is a terrorist group. Hence, the reason they're on the US and EU terror lists. and their supporters who both justify and knowingly provide cover for Hamas' war crimes....like these yokels. Really don't remember Ben Gurion firing a shoulder rocket or ordering one fired at a civilian vehicle, ever. But since you don't accept Intl Law when it is opposite of your agenda, I doubt you'd accept intl definitions either. Yawn
59. Job Only 1/2 Done
Harry Abrams ,   Victoria Canada   (07.02.11)
Go Greece! But now what needs to happen is confiscation of all gaza boats and deportation of terrorist agitators AFTER they spend a couple of years in in a dark dungeon fed on dirty water and stale baklava and their families pay $100,000 each towards the country's financial deficit.
60. Pissing off the Greek Navy is not a good thing!
Hellas Irini! ,   Greece   (07.02.11)
Disrespectful bunch of fools!
