Calling these lunatics ''right-wing'' is just not accurate. A more accurate description would be totalitarians. It wasn't called National-Socialism for nothing. Socialism, Communism, Nazism, & Islamism belong in the same catagory.
2. Terry,These guys are right wingers alright
Ali ,   Scotland   (07.02.11)

Terry, you judge things from a quite superficial background. You mix political ideology with religion, and in this particular case there is no reason to do that. Fortunately, what we call in Europe right wings radicals are (most of them) stupid kids, not older that 20-25, which manifest their frustration in this way. The name totalitarians does not fit them, because I think most of them are not even capable to understand what a political/social system is. Their "ideology" is to be "cool and tough" and has no deep roots. So, they are just a bunch of hooligans, nothing more. Their threats are empty, their activities are childish (it does not exclude dangerous), their political views are crap. As for the extremist Islamic organizations, all the things which I have stated above do apply: extremism is based on frustration/mental disorder, or is just a show-off in order to fulfill some political interests of a group of smart people.
4. Move to Israel
Eli ,   USA   (07.02.11)
European Jews should move to Israel, let the Neo Nazi's focus their attention on the Muslims that are taking over Europe, we should not get in their way. Look at the bright side of it, they hate our enemies also.

You're obviously under the impression these shades of politicism lie on a linear spectrum - they don't: it's actually circular.

This is from the German Der Spiegel article tackling the growing extremism. The article also describes the even more violent radical leftist danger along with the Islamist. That part is carefully omitted: not to offend the leftist leanings of the censors. Neo-nazis are in few compared to the black-cad international anarcho-Communists. But those are not to be mentioned.

right wing in this context refers to support for the idea of a nation-state based on racial characteristics and exclusion of people seen as not belonging to the correct race. That is the essense of Nazism and neo- Nazism. Communism is a failed left wing economic model but it is also ''left wing'' in the sense that it rejects nationalism and sees all men as brothers regardless of race

left wing economic model but it is also ''left wing'' in the sense that it rejects nationalism and sees all men as brothers regardless of race" So I guess Stalin considered "all men" as brothers after he had murdered millions. I guess this is not considerd radical at all? WT_!!!

Socialism was part of the founding principle of the Nazi Party, however, it did not stay that way. There was conflict within the party, between those who felt that socialist ideology should be maintained, and those i.e. Hitler, who abandoned this ideology. Guess who won out? In the end, National Socialism was no more socialist that other fascist states.

The article was about the Neo-Nazis and their makeover, not about anarchists. Every article, about every subject, doesn't have to all inclusive. If they were writing about anarchists, I would not expect equal, or any time, discussing the Neo-Nazis. Get a better axe to grind.
18. @10 - Nazis never stopped being socialist
Yonah ,   Canada   (08.15.11)
The Nazis wiped out revolutionary socialist elements (who proposed to replace the Germany military with the SA, and wanted to create a Soviet/Sparta-like Germanic state) because they threatened Hitler after he received some degree of legitimate recognition. They remained very socialist, with free health care, extremely high taxes, hatred for the aristocracy, state-funded vacation programs, nationalized industries, a car company bankrolled by the state designed to produce cheap cars for the people at no profit, etc...
