1. Much cheaper in US
Steve ,   USA   (07.11.11)
Unbelievable the prices you folks have to pay for Mc'd;s in Israel. I'm not positive, but I've never seen anything (a meal) that expensive in the Midwest. Maybe in NY or LA.. And what the heck is an 'entrcote'? From what I remember, steak in Israel was comparable to the less expensive frozen stuff (sold in boxes) at Walmart.that is way way inferior to the fresh cuts. Sacrifices!
2. Cheaper?
Sam ,   LA-TLV   (07.11.11)
Steve, can you give me the name of three items cheaper in Israel than in US. except fruits and vegetables?
3. entrecote shmentrecote
Kerwood Derby ,   Frostbite Falls, MN   (07.11.11)
The most popular burgers where McDonalds started come from "IN-N-OUT" and were analyzed to be 60% lean or 40% ever-so-flavorful yummy tasty fat. Prime rib is not a designation for a primal cut of meat and entrecote is non-specific, but I would bet that the meat referred to is lean and cardboardy once it sits under the heat lamp for hardly any length of time. To keep the fat level at a tasty level, one normally chooses chuck or brisket and will even combine them with other tastyier (fattier) cuts even from treif like country style ribs.
4. aint no meatloaf or entrecote in MacDonalds
Jeremy ,   USA   (07.11.11)
You all be buggin'. I aint never seen a entrecote in no MacDonalds. And if I be seein' meatloaf in a MacDonalds, I be buggin'. That's wack.

Hi Sam, maybe you misunderstood? I agree with you that Israelis pay too much for 'stuff'. We agree my friend. Read my post again.
6. What a load of questionable byproducts
StoutViking   (07.12.11)
I just bought me a pair of sirloin steaks, 2 fingers thick, for 37.80nis. Only in Israel - a meal designed for poor lazy people who won't cook on their own, for the price of a 3 course meal in a restaurant.
7. its love it or hate it!
ilan ,   israel   (07.12.11)
I hate it. i can only image how long mine sat under a heat lamp. Black, BBB and Moses have something in common, they make your food after you order it, its comes to you hot and juciey. McD has that americian fast food attidiute, i dont have time to wait for it to cook, i want it now kinda deal! McD stick to what you do well, and leave the rest to what others do well. including falafel, what the heck were you guys thinking?
8. I went to eat it today...
Phoenix ,   Israel   (07.12.11)
I ate the Big Texas whatever! Not big deal, not quiet tasty. The meat it's like a piece of rubber. Mosses it's better.
9. Entrecote? You mean 'rib-eye'? That's expensive!
Scott ,   USA   (07.12.11)
10. I wouldn't eat at MacDonalds....
Malone ,   Hfx   (07.12.11)
...if it was free...Grade "Z" meat!
11. Next American import to Israel: obesity
Tahl   (07.12.11)
After we successfully imported the American stupidity, imbecilic reality shows, homelessness, and socioeconomic gaps, now it's time for obesity. The good things in America, interestingly enough, never get here (Well... except for Standly Fishcer).
12. Mcdonalds Felafel
Magic Mel ,   Ra'anana   (07.12.11)
You did not have to be a brain surgeon or marketing guru to know that felafel and McDonalds do not go together.
13. Low Price? High Calorie Cost?
sheik rattle & roll ,   usa   (10.25.11)
The prices at McDonald's in Israel are criminal compared to the US. The CEO says "There is a demand in Israel for a tasty premium burger for a suitable price. How do these companies in Israel get away with ripping off it's consumers? My salary is probably quadruple or more than the average Israeli, however it hurts psychologically to have to pay almost $15.00 for a burger meal at McDonald's. So I avoid it at all cost. If McDonald's advertised in the States that it will charge ($9.20) for a burger it would be bankrupt within a few years. Somebody is bending somebody over in Israel because the prices are insane.
