31. JUST TURN THEM AROUND
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (07.04.11)
Good, so when they make that silly remark and I quote it here; "urges participants to fly to Israel and declare upon arrival that they are "heading to Palestine." Deny their entry, send back wherever they came from on the next available flight. Not a big deal. Lets hope they are that stupid, but just to be sure check the itineraries of those coming in. If that's the tours they booked, goodbye charlie. Nobody will really care, it won't even get a blip on the news, except in the Arab media and some press in the EU. Here in the USA we will cheer the fact you kicked the losers and trouble makers out, as is your right.
32. These cowards dont' dare to land in Libya and defend Libyans
or Syria or Iran.   (07.04.11)
They know they will be arrested right away and tortured to death in prisons. They know those governents don't care about democracy or what other countries or the U.N may say. They don't fear making trouble in Israel becuase Israel has been too good to its enemies for too long. they have become arrogant. They never defend anyone's human rights in the world. They know Palestinians have freedom and their only problem like other Arabs is that they have still not been able to kill all Jews and occupy Israel and turn it into just one more Arab country only for Arabs.
33. #15 Who said they all have U.S. Passports
Ish Kabibble ,   Delancey   (07.04.11)
If the clerk at the airport should happen to notice a stamp from an enemy country in their Passports, they're going back home faster than they came
34. please find these people something to do in their
Ester   (07.04.11)
miserable lives... i wish i had their time!!!
35. AIRBORNE ACTIVISTS !!
mark ,   t.a. Israel   (07.04.11)
OUR PASSENGER PROFILE TEST USED AT BENGOURION AIRPORT WILL DETECT IMMEDIATELY AN ACTIVIST !!
36. 33
Birdi ,   Israel   (07.04.11)
Not clerk, but border police check passports on arrival (& departure) at BG Airport.
37. LET THEM ENTER GAZA!! BUT NOT OUT OF THERE !
Morris   (07.04.11)
It's the best way! They will enjoy Arab hospitality, equal sex opportunity, liberal tolerance to non-Muslims, cultural enlightenment, homosexual freedom... in a warm, exotic, exciting environment! Let them stew there for a few years until they beg a free pass to Tel Aviv...
38. Good News for Tourism
Andy ,   Canada   (07.04.11)
Let them buy tickets and pay the Israeli travel and port tax. Excellent. When they get deported, ensure they have a valid VISA card and charge it on that. No VISA, they get to visit the 1,000 Hamas prisoners that their leadership is leaving in jails because they won't make a deal on Schalit. Could be great PR and even better revenue for the Israeli treasury. I say we split the airport tax revenue with the Greeks and help them out a bit.
39. They attack by sea and water but want civilian status?
Yaniv ,   Israel   (07.04.11)
40. Welcomed by cast of "Inglourious Basterds" ...
JB ,   SoCal, USA   (07.04.11)
. . . complete with baseball bats.
41. At judonimh
Baruch ,   Beit El, Israel   (07.04.11)
The only problem is that for most countries, a 3 month tourist visa is granted automatically.
42. Bus drivers = Mossad agents
JB ,   SoCal, USA   (07.04.11)
On the "Welcome to Palestine" Facebook page, post the top secret news that all the tour bus drivers are Mossad agents. On arrival, reroute trip to closest prison and park near front gate. Driver exits, locking door and meeting dour clipboard-checking official for an hour or two. On return, the stench of soiled undergarments may be overwhelming, especially since all windows have been sealed shut. "Have a nice day!"
43. Since their stated purpose was to bring
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (07.04.11)
AID & supplies, they're coming for any other purpose just proves that what they claimed as the reason for the flotillla was just a big fat lie
44. How they should be dealt with...
Mark ,   usa   (07.04.11)
Apon landing, declaring there intention, they should be told we welcome your visit, if you just come with us your tour bus is being made ready and bused to gaza, dropped off, and any attempt to leave, should being with, well lets see your visa entry.
45. Welcome idiots
John ,   New Zealand   (07.04.11)
I can imagine the sign at BG airport
46. Fly in, fly out
teepus ,   australia   (07.04.11)
Still haven't been able to nfind Palestine on any world map.... Is there such a place? Who id the prime minister? How many do they have? What are 'palestine's' major industries? Would be really interesting as part of the intended "tours".....
47. Israel's enemies are ever more desperate.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.04.11)
Israel's enemies used to boast that tie is one their side. However, they now know the bell tolls for them. It is easy to see why. Israel has one of the world's strongest economies and it's about to get much stronger still, as Israel becomes a major energy power. Jewish settlement of Judea and Samaria is irreversibly successful. The community now boasts 700,000 Jews - more than the population of pre-state Israel. Our enemies resort to increasingly desperate gambits but they are all failing and will continue to do so.
48. there are strict rules (scheduled flights and civil aviation
daniela ,   good luck to idiots   (07.04.11)
It's not like anyone can take off and that's it! There are rules which demand a flight plan to be in place some hours before takeoff, if Israel is intended destination, even from friendly european countries (for example, two and a half hours). A flight plan at takeoff is a requirement for flying anywhere, even domestically, all over Europe, but usually little advance notice is required (but sometimes it is, because of airport operations). Of course all documents and visas must be in order as well, even for passengers who are just transiting. When the airport sends the fax to TLV, if the papers are no good, the tower won't authorize takeoff. All European airspace does not allow takeoff without a flight plan (from nowhere) nor it is allowed visual flight (VFR), this is because the European and Mediterranean airspace is pretty crowded. So suppose the idiots fly to Sahara and then take off, destination Ben Gurion but no paperwork and no flight plan filed anywhere. Guess what the Arab control tower will do when they see an aircraft which is doing something strange and suspicious.... and does not obey the order to land immediately... The neighbouring Arab countries don't have strong air forces, but all of them are good enough to get rid of the mosquito for good. Then they'll say about that Arab leader "He stabbed us in the back"!
49. This one should not be too difficult.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.04.11)
There are the passenger manifests, immigration officers who can board the carriers, check the passports and separate the sheep from the goats, surrendering of cell phones for security reasons, buses that can carry them to various temporary processing centers scattered throughout Israel (the main thing is to separate / spread them out into small groups). Allowing entry to foreigners is a privilege and not a right.
50. Send them here
Noel ,   Melbourne   (07.04.11)
What absolute morons! Clear lovers of the "free world". The pilots should divert their planes to the Australian Outback, land and throw them out. If they happen to make it to civilization (which is most very unlikely) not to worry, we'll drop them back there with a parachute (or better yet, without a parachute).
51. Humiliation
Simcha ,   NYC   (07.04.11)
Just like the Palestinians, these fools get off on being humiliated. Don't they know that they will be dealing with the most intelligent and sophisticated security system in the world? They need to get a life, but are so miserable. Let them wallow in their anger and frustration.
52. A flotilla of fiends -- and useful idiots
A.Anon ,   usa   (07.04.11)
Benny Avni reacent article Title > "A flotilla of fiends -- and useful idiots" He sure got that right
53. Leftist/Pals can't even get basic definitions correct
William ,   Israel   (07.04.11)
"Gridlock" usually means pushing something beyond its capacity thus stemming the flow. You can do that with a highway, or the Internet, but not an airport, dummies!! Airports are internationally regulated and capacity is never exceeded beyond 90% based on usage scenarios. Planes and seating are finite and no capacity is added simply because a bunch of racist Hamas supporters buy a ticket. But I do wish they'd buy all of the seats and charter many planes. We'll get the cash, and they'll be treated to a holding cell while they wait for the next plane out. But wait - they can serenade us with "We shall overcome".
54. Just simply saying "I'm going to Palestine"...
William ,   Israel   (07.04.11)
makes them in violation of their tourist visa and subject to arrest and deportation, with a black mark on their passport (though I would stamp it several times "Israel" just to make life hard for them in the rest of the world). This is the right every sovereign nation has when individuals seek to break their laws. Greece taught them a lesson in that.
55. #2 - they can't board without the proper visa
William ,   Israel   (07.04.11)
Visas are checked prior to even boarding the plane according to Intl aviation law and security conventions. It's even stricter now thanks to Islam and 9/11. And a "Palestinian" visa or passport is not acceptable since its not a sovereign nation nor a signatory to intl aviation conventions.
56. #9 - that's exactly who these people are
William ,   Israel   (07.04.11)
they have OCD and are so narrow-minded they only see themselves. Look at the photos of them. They are older adults, who don't seem to have a real job and are trying their hardest to relive their 1960s youth. I've met many of these people still touring with Grateful Dead cover bands, and trying to keep Woodstock alive. The civil rights movement is over and just like the hippies after Jerry Garcia died, these souls are lost.
57. These guys are such amateurs
William ,   Israel   (07.04.11)
They are clearly doing these actions to appease their own sense of self-worth. They truly have no idea how prepared for these events Israel is after 91 years of Arab terror. We're ready for major war and bombardments from several directions, and suicide bombers - all at the same time. We can handle a few groups of silver haired retards with backpacks.
58. Let them go to Palestine...
Aquarianus ,   Boston, MA   (07.04.11)
...and then don't let them back out. Be careful what you wish for.
59. Gaza Fly In
Rambovitch ,   toronto, Canada   (07.04.11)
I visited Israel. The security is tough and I am a Hebrew speaking Jew. Where was I going, why? They can read these people like a book. Let them into Gaza on Tour Buses filled with 50% Black Ops soldiers. Take them on a REAL tour of Gaza with photos and video streamed to YouTube showing how "poor" the Gazans really are. Show them the tunnels and the masked marauding terrorists patrolling the streets. Then when they want to exit Gaza and re-enter Israel they will be forced to remain in Gaza for days and miss their flights while they are cleared by Israeli security. Once they get back to the airport stamp their passport UNDESIRABLE so that they can never return again.
60. Airports, Especially BG, is Not Exactly a Smart Venue
Dallas ,   Canada   (07.04.11)
An airport is no place to play games.
