1. Clapton, Page and Beck Missing?
World Citizen ,   the world   (07.04.11)
It's not the Yardbirds. Just a couple of ancient has-beens cashing in on people who can't get any other legitimate group to play in their pariah state. The fact that this is front page news on Ynet just goes to show the world how desperate Israelis are.
2. legitimate groups playing here
MOISHE ,   ISRAEL   (07.04.11)
Deep Purlple, Whitesnake, Jethro Tull, The Animals, Ozzy, Elton John, Metallica, Bob Dylan need I go on. . . .
3. A few items for # 1
Ron ,   OC   (07.04.11)
Lets see how many artists will be performing anywhere in the Arab/Moslem world. Few if Any. Israel has had the biggest in the business in the last couple of years. Israel did have to do without Elvis Costello and Santana. Maybe the Pals can get them to perform in Ramallah or Gaza. Good Luck.

Depeche Mode, Metallica, Chris Cornell, The Scorpions, Regina Spektor, Nine Inch Nails, Yngwie Malmsteen, Faith No More, Lady Gaga, etc, etc that's just off the top of my head....Excuse me, but who the F#$% cares about washed up Annie Lennox n' old fart Costello (BUH-bye) when we've had some of the greatest musical acts of all time here. World Citizen's a tad bit more provincial than he thinks. Better luck bashing next time, luv.
6. world citizen too bad western music
Barney ,   USA   (07.05.11)
isn't allowed at all in the islamic world. youth get knee capped just for listening to it and it is very hard to hear from underneath the black bag.
7. Big deal...
Unimpressed ,   Tel Aviv   (07.05.11)
Israel is just filling up - at ridiculous prices considering - with has-been performers searching for a bit of pension money.

9. Yardbirds
Elliot ,   London england   (07.05.11)
How ironic, when these bands were in their heyday and the western world was in a drug induced stupour, Israel miraculously survived a mortal attack by Egypt, Jordan and Syria. The palestinians hadn't been invented yet.
10. Yardbirds are part of my collection.
Ypip ,   Canada   (07.06.11)
John Cale as well; sounds like a nice club. (Strange Times in Casablanca) la la la!!!
11. To #1
Lynn ,   London, England   (07.06.11)
Just because you probably cannot afford to buy a ticket there is no need to be so spiteful and racist. If you don't want to go and see them fine - there are plenty other people out there who probably do - stop being so selfish
12. Yardbirds are great!
Russ Garrett ,   NY, NY USA   (07.17.11)
If any of you had seen the current line-up of The Yardbirds you would know how great a band they still are. (As for "World Citizen"...get a life! Russ www.yardbirds.us
13. to #1
Travis ,   New York   (07.31.11)
Actually you should be #2 and I am talking abut the scatological meaning of the number. FYI - Former Yardbirds lead guitarist Jeff Beck performed in Israel for two concerts in October 2010.
