i am glad that this article brought out the venom of so many people who know nothing about their heritage other than that they hate it and believe that it is the cause of antisemitism ( which is false). I am saddened that it has to be splashed all over an international web site ofr our enemies to gloat at.

Israel is in this perpetual state of (perceived?) war. Generation after generation of youth is trained for war and most of them experience war. Which other country in the world does that to their youth? Israel has never really made an effort for peace. (it's always arabs that oppose peace, yeah right) My ex-bf (born '48) was a soldier in 3 wars. He emigrated, because he thought he'd done enough his duty to put his sons to that same experience. It's a never ending spiral.

I have no problem if you sacrifice your own or your children's lives, on the contrary, I will gladly give your widow a medal. As I wrote, Nobel Peace Prize Winner Obama uses drones to attack his enemies because he prefers sacrificing helpless Afghan civilians to losing American soldiers. In two years 5000 dead civilians. More importantly, read the 4th Geneva Convention, articles 19, 28 and 29 that confirm "Torat Hamelech"
