There is no business imperative. Friday and Saturday are the Jewish days of rest. Israel has gotten along fine until now. What has changed except some peoples' intelligence? And why would we follow Muslim countries? If businesses want to give their employees off on Sunday, let them work on 10/4 model.

Yes, this would be a good idea for international business, and does not directly destroy the sanctity of the Sabbath. Just don't call Sunday a holy day, because it's not.

As I have studied the bible, I found that yes, Saturday never changed as the ordained day of rest by the Lord. My grandfather and great- grandmother on my father's side were Jewish as was my grandfather was also on my mother's side so, I have some Jewish roots in me and I Never knew that but, I was still led to believe that "Sunday" was the day of rest.I was also led to believe that it was not importand "what " day you worshipped the Lord but that you worshipped Him, and that you could go it anyday. I learned that I was taught wrong. The 4th command in the 10 commandments declares that day "holy" and to be honored above ALL days of the week. Another surprise, the Saturday Sabbath is NOT a Jewish day of rest but, it is THE DAY of REST for ALL of man. All of the christians rested on Saturday til, Constantine ruled that the christians HAD to worshipped on Sunday, THE DAY OF THE SUN GOD of Roman. Today there are only 2 official groups that still worship on Saturday, The Jews in all the world and the Seventh Day Adventist. If they can encourage everyone to worship on that day, it will be later "forced :" at GUN POINT. Guess what too, Sunday worship IS the MARK OF THE BEAST!Don't take my word,research it yourselves and who calls it THEIR MARK, Their in Rome.

All the mentioned countries that accepted Sunday as their rest day are in great economic and moral trouble and Israel seems to be bent to join them in it. You are saying Moslems keep Friday, Jews Saturday, and Christians Sunday. The weighty matter is not who keeps what but what day God meant for humanity to be kept. No Friday, no Sunday but Shabbath (Saturday) or the last day of the week. God will not honor those who dishonor Him. That is why all Sunday and Friday keeping countries are in trouble. I know Moslems who know they should keep the true Shabbath and I know Christians of the same nature. Sunday is an apple that grew up on the tree of Vatican in the 4th century. It is not the product of true Christianity. Conscientious Christians keep the true Shabbath. I am a Christian and I love you all folks in Israel. My plea to you is: Please, don't yield to this treacherous proposition!

how wrong can this be? It should never ever be called a day of rest. It is simply another day OFF!! Why make it into a religious issue? The rest of the world does not rest on sunday, it is just a part of the weekend!!!!!!!!!!
