1. Why let them board the planes
Dan ,   Rehovot, Israel   (07.07.11)
Surely, Israeli security can spot these lunatics at the airport before they board the planes. Prevent them getting on as flight risks.
2. absurd #1
john ,   jerusalem   (07.07.11)
arrogance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do you control the whole world ?
3. #2, Not the world but our border: YES!
Yossef   (07.07.11)
4. #1 Dan: Israel doesn't own all the Airlines ...
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (07.07.11)
That fly to Israel! The better question is why don'\t the Shalits arrange a protest for Gilad's release in front of these terrorist/terrorist supporters when they arrive? This would be far more constructive than them sitting outside Bibi's house!
5. @#2 "John", If you don't like Jewish Jerusalem...
MORRIS   (07.07.11)
go back to where you belong. Whether it is B'Ham, Bradford, Lille, Marseilles or Brussels, you will be amongst your friends, the Muslims who control these places...
6. non of your business #5
john ,   jerusalem   (07.07.11)
I belong to Jerusalem where I was born some 55 years ago and still living there and for ever. What in the hell is "Jewish Jerusalem". It is only in your dreams.
7. Memo to Stas Misezhnikov
Devorah   (07.07.11)
Since you want to show these "tourists" a good time, why not take them to the proposed Dead Sea and Eilat sites of the proposed FABULOUS STAS CASINO?
8. so your borders
Patricia ,   spain netherlands   (07.07.11)
are in france???
9. Pre-flight boarding checks
John Doe ,   Binyamina Israel   (07.07.11)
The Americans have a no-fly list, distributed to every airline flying to the USA. They are obligated to check and refuse boarding to anyone on the list. If, despite this, one gets through and is identified during entry to the USA, the airline is held at fault and must return the passanger at its expense.
10. Film at 11
Bad assed Jew. ,   United States   (07.07.11)
we all wait in anticipation of some loons being gathered up at Ben Gurion International airport in Israel. They are easily recognized, they walk and talk like humans but, they are a sub breed easily removed from polite society like a whore at a family reunion.
11. Ynet: Fomenters, provocateurs, instigators NOT protesters
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (07.07.11)
Did you learn nothing from Marmura?

eddie c ,   cape town   (07.07.11)

13. fly-in
sas ,   israel   (07.07.11)
we should be talking less about this. if these people want to come let them come and see our beautiful country. most of them have probably never been here. let them see what we Israelis have accomplished despite our "neigjhbors".
14. FU John, you and your birth certificate
Yossef   (07.07.11)
Israel & Jerusalem are jewish by definition, learn. If you are not happy: MOVE!
15. #8 Noble Patrician
Devorah   (07.07.11)
Listen, smartass, as far as fools like you are concerned, they are. They have every right under international law to stop whomever they deem unacceptable to board a plane to Israel.
16. talkbacks
kapriza ,   tsafon   (07.07.11)
Talkbacks are intended for sharing ideas and opinions, not for personal attacks on someone you disagree with. Grow up, kids!!!
17. #6 - well actually
Jersey ,   New Jersey, USA   (07.07.11)
Well actually, Jerusalem is in Israel, and a Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital is in your dreams. Our Jerusalem is a reality.
18. what an opportunity!
tom ,   toronto, canada   (07.07.11)
instead of putting a big show of police and security forces, how about a press conference explaining to the reporters (and their plo-affiliated "fixers"), about the "ISM" - how it is organised and run by the palestinians as a "foreign legion" for the terrorist groups, how it has provided support and cover for terrorist operations, and how its current campaign of provocation is not about helping the palestinians, many of whom also depend on the tourist industry, but about, plain and simply, harming israel at all costs. with regular, hourly briefings about the israeli side of the story, most reporters would decide for themselves that there is nothing to report, and go home.
19. #6 Dreams and Nightmares
Phil ,   Ireland   (07.07.11)
You ask "What in the hell is "Jewish Jerusalem"? Hell is where you will find a non-Jewish Jerusalem. Seems you haven't woken up yet.
20. Plenty of scowling & digital passion on this posting!
Cameron ,   USA   (07.07.11)
21. Kapriza #16: Your point about the
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (07.07.11)
sharing of ideas and actual discussion as opposed to the insults and one-line invectives which can be found on this series of Talkbacks is a good one. Part of the reason for this devolves from the penchant of Ynet authorities themselves who often restrict access to people like me who actually do develop themes in hopes of invoking discussion through adding information as well as exposing inaccuracies. One of the best Talkbackers of all, Marcella from Canada, no longer posts because she had gone unpublished so often. The excuse made by Ynet is that some posts are overlong. In fact, there is no limit to the number of words which can be contained in a Talkback. Ynet simply refuses to establish a policy. In the meantime, it allows nasty one sentence statements which add nothing to our knowledge base. Particularly galling is the number of obvious number of antisemitic socalled contributions which Ynet allows, seemingly impervious to the negative effect which such posts have on the Reader in a (mostly)Jewish website. For really interesting Talkbacks, I'd suggest going to Pajamas Media.
22. Israeli authorities should not be lulled into....
mindRider ,   The Free World   (07.07.11)
.. lowering their guard. Like on last years flotilla one needs only a few hard core trained disruptive elements amongst the "peaceful protesters" group to create an explosive atmosphere needed to have the media do the usual Israel bashing.
23. #16 you better stick to a bottle of irish stout
john ,   jerusalem   (07.07.11)
24. #19 and not 16 you better stick to a bottle of irish stout
john ,   jerusalem   (07.07.11)
25. @23 Galway is hardly better than Cheikh Jarrah..
MORRIS   (07.07.11)
midges, drunkards, IRA, poverty, boredom...but you won't find many Jews that you hate so much there. So you can be amongst equals and friends with a pint of Irish stout and a few boiled potatoes...
26. #24 Of course...
Phil ,   Ireland   (07.07.11)
It's obvious you can't really discern what an Islamic Jerusalem would be like. You assume the cliched view of the Irish and this shows your ignorance. Top of the mornin to ya!
27. Comical hysteria redux...
Mikesailor ,   Miami, FL   (07.07.11)
Oh my. Israelis want to guard against unarmed protesters with, what else, an overwhelming show of force and the threat of wanton violence. And, all who would criticize this Israeli pandering to fear are immediately labeled as 'antisemitic' and personally attacked. First of all, anybody arriving in Israel, or any other country for thay matter, are screened for weaponry before they board their flight. Ergo, they arrive defenceless. So, why is this military response necessary? Why are you so afraid? And of what? Pro-Palestinian protesters carrying signs? You seem to be scared of your own shadows. Or is it the message itself? Pathetic.
28. Organizer "flying into Lydda Aiport"
AssaultOnANation ,   china and israel   (07.07.11)
Make no mistaek they are not here to support the Palestinians they are here to deligitimize the State of Israel The organizer said "We are flying into Lydda Airport also known as Ben Gurion" then they will visit Israeli Arabs in the Galilee and the Negev as well as the "occupied territories"This is an assault on the legitimacy of a sovereign state on the Jewish homeland make no mistake as to their true motives. No country in the world would allow it !
29. "John"in Yerushalaim
Ivri ,   TA   (07.07.11)
Whats up Ahmad? When did you convert to christianity?
30. #27 What happened to the starving Palestinians?
Phil ,   Ireland   (07.08.11)
That is what this sham was all about after all. Now you switch the focus to Israel refusing entry to protestors which would happen in any other country. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the Palestinians starve. Yeah right.
