61. Turkey should apologize
Benjamin ,   Asia   (07.09.11)
Turkey should be the one to apologize for encouraging the flotillas and for the planned violence of its IHH Turkish activists that led to that undesirable outcome.
62. Love...
Max Merbaum ,   Los Angeles   (07.09.11)
Love is never having to say I'm sorry.
63. Israel denies the Armenian Genocide
ben   (07.09.11)
It's pretty apparent from reading the posts on this board that you guys don't know that Israel denies the armenian Genocide and that it's powerful lobbies work day and night on behalf of Turkey to deny the Armenian Genocide. Simply google " Turket Israel and the politics of genocide" and read. Or there are a few like Nobel prize winner Eli Wizel who has taken a stand against his country for their denial of the Armenian Genocide , but for the most part the official policy of Israel is that what happened to the Armenians in 1915 was not genocide. And in the past Israel has worked extremly hard on behalf of Turkey to keep it that way
64. #52 does it bother you that Israel denies the Armenian Genoc
ben   (07.09.11)
And that it's powerful lobbies work day and night to deny the Armenian Genocide Please google and read " Israel Turkey and the politics of genocide
65. #56 lebanon...
solomon ,   bklyn   (07.09.11)
It is you who refuses to face the truth. 1. The "activists" (aka IHH terrorists) DID attack first. 2. The films taken from Israeli boats of the terrorists attacking the soldiers even before they hit the deck, show this. 3. Some soldiers were very badly wounded, but weren't killed, Thank G-d. Thanks also go to 2 or 3 activists below deck who prevented others from killing the soldiers (as shown on the BBC program Panorama). 4. The IDF stormed a ship that was attempting to break a LEGAL blockade. Preventing the breaking of a LEGAL blockade is LEGAL in International waters ACCORDING TO INTERNATIONAL LAW. 5. The terrorists were armed with knives and iron pipes, as seen from the films and eye witness reports (including the ship captain's report). 6. Your false statements ad nauseum does not change facts. Keep your own hasbara to yourself as it is pure fantasy.
66. APOLOGIZE..???
toronto ,   TORONTO CANADA   (07.09.11)
My answer to this.."mishoogehnehr". is that famous yiddish expression... "Koosh meyr een tohchess ahreyn"
67. #56 LebanonPride
Wally   (07.09.11)
According to the UN Palmer report the blockade is legal and storming the ship in international waters was also legal. The Palmer report puts most of the blame on Turkey.
68. Pleeeease... Don't!!!
moriah ,   sacramento usa   (07.09.11)
69. Israel has no more water.
Ezdzit ,   Ukiah, CA   (07.09.11)
Israel needs water. Turkey has lots and lots of water. No apology from Israel? No water pipeline from Turkey....or any other ME country.
70. to #56 re your handle and your post
John ,   Alaska   (07.09.11)
I have yet to see a post by you that is simply advocating for Lebanon. All your posts that I have read have been specifically agitating against Israel. Perhaps a more accurate nickname would be in order. Also, you said: "Keep your hasbara to yourselves." I will note your misuse of the term "hasbara" only in passing. The purpose for my response is to let you know, because you seem to be ignorant, willingly or otherwise: The talkbacks on YNet will tend to be in favor of Israel, because of the purpose for YNet as a news agency. The people who post here have no reason to keep their views to themselves. It is not only counter-intuitive to ask them to do so, it is provocative. The only equivalent perspective I can picture would be of an Islamic person in Holland telling Geert Wilders to stop speaking against the evils of Islam. Your disagreement with someone's views does not deprive them of their right to voice them. Actually another example presents itself. It is as if you were walking down the street, heard people talking, not to you but to each other, and demanded they stop saying something you dislike. You don't have to read, much less take part in, the conversations on this site. Voluntary participation implies the responsibility to respect the views of those participating. You should expect that those you have addressed will NOT keep their views to themselves.
71. TURKEY THE SICK MAN OF EUROPE
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (07.09.11)
Now you know why, it has a screwball like Erdogan leading it
72. As a gesture of Erdogan's friendship
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (07.09.11)
He wanted to be the one to act as an intermediary between Israel and the so-called Palestinian's in the effort in obtaining the release of Gilad Shalit Hmmm, I wonder which side he would have favored in the negotiations, Anybody care to guess ?
73. Can you imagine who was mediating peace Syria and Israel
(07.09.11)
Just another muslim Jew hating thug who things muslims are better than Jews.
74. Yes, so when is Turkey going to finally apologize?
noa ,   israel   (07.09.11)
75. Blunder is our specialty

76. #49 Lawrence, Safed
Rafi ,   US   (07.09.11)
I notice in your Talkbacks, the theme is if it can't be said in foul-mouth form, it's not worth saying... So keep up the good work, sewer-mouth!
77. #56 Erdogan's apology is worthless
Cynthia ,   USA   (07.09.11)
He already stabbed Israel in the back and sold Turkey out for trade agreements with Iran. As for blind LebanonSnide, cameras captured the incident and eyewitness reports from the ship's captain confirmed the jihadis planned the attack on the soldiers two hours in advance when they removed iron bars from the ship to add to their weapons catch of iron chains, knives, bats, pipe bombs. After watching IDF soldiers being thrown overboard and almost lynched, it's a miracle no one in the unit was killed.
78. TURKEY IS A MUSLIM COUNTRY
American ,   Los Angeles   (07.09.11)
and we all know what koran says about the non muslims-they should convert ot DIE.It's stupid to believe that turks can be a friend of Israel, when 78% of the turks consider Israel and USA an enemy and Iran and hamas friends..
79. Nr. 54.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (07.09.11)
So is my thought. And not only Israel is a big winner according to Prophesy, also Armenia will become that, and that will also soon be seen. Russia is forced to support Armenia because of its National interessts. Russia do not want an Pan-Turkish state in its Belly, consisting of some 150-200 million Turks, Built on the Corpse of Armenia, Extendind itself from the Mediterranian to the Pacific. Arn.
80. With friends like Greece who needs Turkey
Sharona ,   jerusalem Israel   (07.09.11)
We should spend time thanking Greece and spend NO time apologizing to Turkey who sent international criminals toward Israel. Turkey is becoming just another Muslim terrorist state. Did anyone ever imagine otherwise???
81. Plain nuts
Yael Schlichting ,   Raubling - Germany   (07.09.11)

Why the israelis always begging. We dont want anything to do with you. Stay in your own desert in the Middle East.Your politicians are desperate or what ?
89. # 69 Blackmail
Anadelfos ,   Athens Greece   (07.09.11)
Dear Ezdzit what do you imply? That due to lack of water, Israel has to succumb to Turkey's demands? What will be next then? Give up Jerusalem or no water? Or maybe give up Tel Aviv or no water? I feel astonished by your logic. Is this the way you live your life ( by blackmailing )? If there ever appear a water problem, it can be easily solved by tankers from Greece. Here tonnes of river crystal water end into the sea, so nobody will object if we can help another people to stop being thirsty. Nice try though .Sabbat shalom.
90. WHAT A JOKE
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (07.09.11)
When this story first broke about a week ago...that Israel and Turkey were trying to work things out...I wrote that Turkey simply couldn't be trusted. That in any crisis they would turn on Israel to satisfy the Muslim world. That to vilify Israel and jump on that bandwagon would be more important. Well I rest my case. Here we see Turkey using even the attempt at normalization to promote a proven lie. For anybody who saw the video's of how the whole thing unfolded, knows it was the terrorists on the ship that provoked it. The fact is, if you took out all the politics, all the International implications, and just presented the case in any court of law with a neutral jury, any reasonable person would acquit Israel of any crime, period. Add to that, the people on board the ship would be found guilty of premeditation in all the acts that led up to this incident. They would be found guilty of starting the incident to begin with. Yet here we have Erdogan still promoting what is a proven lie. With the gall to ask Israel to "apologize" for the incident that Turkey was largely responsible for, and clearly help promote. Just as Syria and Hezbollah help promote the recent border fence incident, Turkey is guilty of the same actions with the 2010 flotilla.
