The US borrowed a lot of money and gave it to Israel so Iron Dome would be available to protect Israeli civilians from rockets.
Why was the system not used?
Why were Israeli civilians allowed to be endangered when a supposedly proven system was available?

Regardless, Iron Dome would not have activated. Look into how it works a little. Why launch a $70,000 counter-rocket to blow up a Kassam heading for an empty field. The system has built in radar to cost effectively protect Israelis.
