Simcha ,   MA,USA   (07.12.11)
Yes your missing something. Livni and Kadima are only interested in political positioning. They have the luxury of having no responsibility since they are not in the government. As a result, they can slander all they want without repercussion. And before someone ties this to Tibi and Co. Livni and Kadima never were part of violent uprisings and protests. They act within the system and rely on their peers for support. They don't throw stones or in past instances, Molotov's.
32. To all of you who worry...
AB ,   TheRock   (07.12.11)
incessantly about what the world thinks of us. Can't you see how nerdy you appear and how much harm YOU cause our country? In the name of democracy you just make fool of yourselves, show what cowards you are. Your views have NOTHING to do with righteousness. Thank G-d this bill was passed. Get rid of the rotten apples amongst us.
33. I shall continue to boycot goods from the terrotries
Haim ,   Israel   (07.12.11)
What you gonna do about it Big Brother ? A desperate law by a desperate right wing goverment who think they can bully people and take away their freedom and democracy. Well news flash , it aint gonna work. I will do all that i can to publish lists of products made in the occupied terrotries to sites abroad.
34. Kadima, it is about time to stop appeasing to Israel enemies
Marcelo ,   World   (07.12.11)
Thank you Bibi, keep up with great hard work. Thank you Lieberman, it is about time we finally are straight forward challenging the issues with correct and atmost realistic attitude. Finally naive Kadima is not bringing Israel to its self debilitation. Am Israel Chai!
35. Good vote! Good job Israel. Haters will hate you regardless.
Mike ,   Austin US   (07.12.11)
Look out for yourselves not your sworn enemies, be they in the knesset and/or on the far left.
36. This measure might seem extreme, but in the end it's vital!
Johnny ,   Stockholm Sweden   (07.12.11)
I can only congratulate you for this vote and it's outcome. Hopefully this will become a reality in European countries as well.
37. #26 answer

38. The only democracy in ME
Siedjan ,   Indonesia   (07.12.11)
Anyone who doesn't think like Lieberman go to jail.
39. Democratic? No, Ziocratic.
LebanonPride ,   Canada   (07.12.11)
Nothing democratic about this law. Who needs enemies to ilegitimize Israel when their government does it themselves?
40. BYE-BYE DEMOCRACY *waves*
Rachael ,   Brooklyn, NY   (07.12.11)
SEE YA!
41. Its a good idea to fight back
Richard ,   USA   (07.12.11)
It is absurd for Israel to just take all of the nonsense that any Antisemitic group wants to push in order to look good to its Antisemetic base. Enough is enough and boycotts should go two ways. I only wish Jews in Americans would boycott these groups too, but it is hard enough to get Jewish Americans to work against the Obama Anti-Israel Agenda.
42. Israel, The Mouse That Roared
World Citizen ,   the world   (07.12.11)
So you passed a law. Pray tell us who is going to enforce it? What Jewish attorney will take a case lest he be guaranteed some money? Since any case brought against a violator is judgement proof no one will take the cases! I'm boycotting all things Israeli and most of my friends are too. I know people who trash Israeli fruit in the markets just so it is not edible. We allow no Israelis in our businesses. They are known as thieves and ingrates. Dogs are considered better guests in our hotels.
43. My way or not way
Ariely ,   Jerusalem Israel   (07.12.11)
It is my way- or no way! -- Israeli left parties are: - losing in elections repeatedly? - Early decreasing number of supporters? -reality proves repeatedly that their ideas and policy are wrong? --- What is their democratic solution? Loosing in Israeli public? Impose their ideas and will on the Israelis by foreign intervention! Bashing and incitement abroad against Israel! And they have the guts to call their action legatine democratic actions! It is their way- or destroys the country by foreign intervention!
44. To: No. 20
Humhum   (07.12.11)
Of course, Machiavelli was talking to the dictators of his day. Nice job.
45. We need a constitution.
noa ,   israel   (07.12.11)
When you don't have a constitution anything can happen. This is so not Jewish.
46. Post Traumatic Stress
Ehai ,   London, England   (07.12.11)
I disagree that a policy of boycotting somebody or their products is a mode of freedom of expression. It is a mode of protest and very definitely an act that is something more than mere dislike. It is outright aggression. The UN Charter recognizes people have a right of self defense. Not a right of aggression. OK but boycotting is a practical form of protest. It was instrumental in the defeat of Apartheid. Oh and if only it could work for the fight against global warming! But tell me please, who has a right to make war on Israel? Not even GOD would do that, and GOD knows the difference between right and wrong better than anybody. No, look at this new legislation like the anti-missile Dome. First, let's hope we don't need to use it very often. Second, if it causes harm to any meek peace loving souls....... revise it. Let the Israel courts just try it.
47. It is the far left that are stupid! You dont punch your self
Judah ,   Israel   (07.12.11)
to teach yourself a lesson. If you disagree you dont boycott- thats dictatorship and aggressiveness of the worst political kind. Im not surprised that the anti zionist arabs and the apologetic israeli left were against this. fools! the Israeli public is tired of the minority left dictating boycotts. you also feed the international community who says, if israelis themsleves do it, why should we? the left= lost and arrogant. sad.
48. #26 what you are missing is
Stan ,   Israel   (07.12.11)
That bibi is a coward. 1. He did nothing to prevent HIS coalition from bringing and passing a bill which proposed by the LEADER OF HIS PARTY in the knesset. 2. He (bibi) did not vote against !!!!!!!!!!
49. To #15 Get with it Eric
Stan ,   Israel   (07.12.11)
When the REAL BOYCOTT of Israel comes it will mean that : Israel will be expelled from all international sport INCLUDING THE OLYMPIC GAMES Refusal to buy Israeli fruit, flowers, vegetables, wines, irrigation equipment and many kinds of INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS. How do I know ? READ UP ABOUT THE BOYCOTT OF SOUTH AFRICA
50. Other than quotations from the finance
R. Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (07.12.11)
minister, Diskin, all other quotes in this article are taken from politicians who oppose this bill. This poorly written article from Ynet has become more and more typical of its anti Likud anti Yishuveem anti conservative stance regarding our beloved country. Ynet has also been censoring Talkbackers like me who actually defend the nation. Ynet refuses to engage in any discussions about its policies whatsoever. We can see where Ynet is headed.
51. Palestinians support Israeli settlers
John ,   US, US   (07.12.11)
From now on the Palestinians will lawfully support Israeli settlers; otherwise, Israel will boycott them. :)
52. Call it What it is -- Treason

55. Great Bill Kol HaKavod! But where was BIBI?
Miriam ,   Israel   (07.12.11)
He was being afraid to do something controversial. Shame on him!
56. #5:You probably suffer form amnesia, otherwise
Vardina   (07.12.11)
you would remember how many times Israel was prepared to trade the so called occupied territories for peace, which the Palestinians rjfected because what they wanted and still want was not peace but eliminating the Jewish state and take ove whatever Jews had created and built up here. We are here to stay for ever and the territories of the West Bank will be returned for no less than peace and acknowledgement of the Jewish state's right to exist. Since you are avoiding the confusion involved in facing facts - let me remind you by asking a question: did the Arabs signd peace treaties with Israel before 1967? Who sent the murderers to kill Jewish chidren in buses? Where were you then? If you were born later - kindly try to read some books or get some further information about facts instead of ignoring them.
57. #12: Your comment proves your ignorance

and hatred.
58. #27: Even though the fall of Isrel is your
Vardina   (07.12.11)
ultimate dream it will never happen. We are here to stay and in the case of real threat against Israel Muslims will not be safe at any place in the world.
59. to 27
john Darren ,   cairns-Australia   (07.12.11)
Israeli soldiers scared of you Arabs-that would be the most stupid statement ever posted on this site.AND you certainly have not any understanding about the true relationship between Israel and the US.You are a pathetic fool to post such nonsense.
60. To all ignorants: do you know who work
Vardina   (07.12.11)
in Israeli enterprises in the territories? Palestinian Arabs, mainly, because they want to get a decent salary, not be used as slaves by their so called Arab Brethren. Has any of the big shot attackers here bother to ask those workers about their opinion? True, there are complaints too, but not many. If the Arabs wanted their Israeli employers to move their enterprises from there - why don't they say so? The wholeanti Israeli propaganda is made by Arab terrorists and their supporters who are no better.
