1. I think a return of 25 mortars is in store here
William ,   Israel   (07.12.11)
for starters to see if Gazans get the message.
2. Why not simply launch a quassam back?
EZ ,   USA   (07.13.11)
For everyone they fire, we fire one back, no guidance system or anything, just fire away. No need to invoke the illiterates interpretation on "an eye for an eye"...it's just ensuring they know what it feels like: that at anytime, a quassam can land o. Their house or heads just like here in Israel? It's worth a shot (no pun intended). And if in the unfortunate event someone dies, perhaps they finally begin to actually value life rather than waste it. But then again, based upon their culture...probably not. Maybe the towns should be allowed to return fire with homemade weapons as well? Level playing field. Just tossing ideas around since Barak does nothing for the Israelis in the line of fire (except bomb some tunnels...gee, THAT'S helped tremendously!
3. Hot summer on Israels' South
Hassan Akhmatov ,   KAZAN, RUSSIA   (07.13.11)
but where is Israeli police to prevent the holiday to spoil, to go to Gaza and arrest those who disturb the peace
4. A military response is wise
John ,   Alaska   (07.13.11)
The rocket fire from Gaza is like a bully pushing you. The sad truth about living with savages is they won't stop until you push back. Do so. Hard enough that they will not push you again. Make the savages of Gaza physically unable to wage war against you (and what they have been doing is, in fact, waging war).
5. where's iron dome when you want it/need it

Alex ,   Israel   (07.13.11)
BARABARIANS ,war monsters they will all get what they deserve. Wait it is coming. They the hamas are doomed.
7. I think the obliteration of Gaza is in store here
Devorah   (07.13.11)
because they will never get the message.

Chris ,   Naptown   (07.13.11)
Not a good idea... it would put supporters of Israel in the position of having to speak out against them. Randomly killing civilians is not ok... if you think it's ok then go support Hamas... don't taint Israel with that logic... Go after the people who fire rockets, not simply the people who fire rocket's people... that's only gonna inspire more rocket fire... It's a difficult thing to deal with, but don't sink to their level...
9. #2 has the right idea
rachel ,   usa   (07.13.11)
10. #2 - that's not the point
Sandy ,   Israel   (07.13.11)
Launching eye-for-an-eye qassam attacks is useless, and targets innocents (like you-know-who!). Our goal should be to fight back in such a way that they should no longer be able to attack US. That is, to defeat them. What a concept, eh?
11. "Hudna" from the peace partners. Now wait for
PETER SM ,   AUSTRALIA   (07.13.11)
the useful idiots to cry Israel broke the ceasefire against innocent victims by RETURNING fire.
12. What of the Qassam Interceptors?
(07.13.11)

Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (07.13.11)
When Hamas/Fatah kill Jewish children, they are hailed as freedom fighters and resistance". When Israel killers Hamas/Fatah soldiers, we are condemned as inhuman and war criminals, look at "Cast Lead" and the Goldstone report. Hamas/Fatah want Arab dead, especially children, because it advances their purpose and they don't see it as a loss. The only thing they value is land, and the only thing that hurts them is losing land.
14. More rockets launched
Spencer ,   Israel   (07.14.11)
Reintroduce targeted killings.
