31. Hey # 20 what planet do you live on
What's the matter never seen the pictures of Israelee children writing messages on bombs to be droped during the Lebanon war. I like the comment about aid, The US should multiply it's aid millions of times to all countries an solve it's debt problem. Ps It's interesting how Israel treats is soldierd who say no to the occupation the best prisons are reverved for them

32. These wounded soldiers are heroes
They deserve every consideration. The Israelis are known for ingenuity; may they develop therapies and treatments that heal their wounded, make them stronger, more resilient and more whole than before they trauma happened.

As someone who served in combat, I can say: Stop the crying and whining. This is what you were trained for. Do you see PALs or Lebanese crying like whimpering babies. Get some spine. Some people died, it was a difficult battle. Get on with your lives and stop whining about it.

34. To #23, hansje-not true
the main IDF strike force only penetrated just 5 miles beyond the border, about 15 miles short of its goal, the Litani River. The war itself lasted 34 days, not 3 months. It was a poor showing because IDF outnumbered Hezbollah by a 10-to-1 ratio.

the "true fighter" is nasrallah who sits in a rat hole since 2006. i wish you guys more great warriors like him.
hezbollah is a guerilla bunch which can only fight on its own territory. this means they will never defeat israel.

37. #34, actually what you said isn't true
The IDF reached the Litani at the end of the war. The last troops pulled out of Lebanon end of September 2006, having carried out the demolition of Hizbollah bunkers completely unopposed by the "resistance" who went out of its way not to re-provoke a fight. With the exception of Cast Lead, there has never ever been a less lethal war for Israel. The Palestinians in Defensive Shield killed nearly as many Israelis in the same period of time. Hizbollah had roughly the same number of front-line soldiers as the IDF did and suffered far far higher casualties to their military than Israel - even they admit 500, Israel claimed 800, that would be nearly 4-6 times the number of IDF soldiers - and this is despite the fact that Hizbollah was fighting on its home turf.

It is not only our boys that are suffering from PTSD - so are the American vets from Iraq and Afghanistan - but there is help:
Military praises 'fantastic' new post-traumatic stress therapy

Perhaps somebody with 'connections' could let our soldiers know about it.......
