Ethiopian immigrants are doing wonders at 8% studying in institutions of higher learning, considering their backgrounds. Often times their parents didn't have a book in their homes. You're quite unaware how racist, ignorant and patronizing your comment is.

I made that exact same point, but it wasn't printed. Put simply, who would you expect to do better, kids who come from a home with both parents having a degree. Or kids coming from a home where both parents never finished high school. As time goes by they will improve. The 8% will have kids most will go to college. then the number will jump. Also, how old were the kids when they got to Israel 12 or 13? They would already be behind. Just give it another generation. I'm a firm believer in being a product of your environment. Being in Israel will elevate them. If they lived in Gaza they would aspire to be suicide bombers. But in Israel, they will aspire to go to college.

Why is that? Is Ethiopia some top country? The literacy rate is only 35%, nobody is saying it was because they are inferior, or Black. Why is it people like you always misuse the word "racist" or "racism"? The word "racist" means a person feels another race is inferior, or his race is superior as compared to any race you want to choose (i.e. Blacks and Caucasians). He said nothing of the sort. People are a product of their environment to some extent, with a literacy rate in that country of 35% course the kids will have problems. Nothing is racist about that at all, except maybe on your part. Personally I would blame the (Ethiopian) government.

Every sub-community within the tribes of Jews must take quick action on such fronts in order to stave off such horrendous trends and inspire the youth and adults to FINISH THEIR EDUCATIONS AND CONTINUE AS ADULTS! Our other organizations should step in IMMEDIATELY to launch a massive campaign to show the benefits of education in a ceaseless act of love and encouragement!
