1. Kazakhstan but not Israel.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (08.13.11)
And, I don't blame him. I bet he didn't have to wait 5-6 years for Israel's creaky inefficient bureaucracy to grant permission. If Kazakhstan is more profitable than Israel, what does that say? We laughed about Borat & his Kazakh imitations, now the Kazakhs can laugh at us. Our bureaucracy is full of Borat-clones. And I'll bet anything that the quality of construction, the architecture, & the landscaping is nicer than the crap we build here at inflated prices.
2. i like, is nice

3. #1 Agreed, an insane situation.
Etoile ,   Montreal, CAN   (08.13.11)
While I am truly happy for this economic development, there is just something crazy about an Israeli having to go all the way to Kazakhstan to make a fortune on housing construction... when there are massive protests in Israel due to a severe lack of housing!
4. Shame on him - why build in a dictatorship but not in here?
Eliezer ,   Jerusalem   (08.13.11)
Khazakstan is a dictatorship, loved by the West because of its vast oil and gas reserves. They chose to ignore the dictator president who is corrupt and a crooked dealer. So why does an Israel have to engage there and insult us. He would be better off building for his own here in Israel. As to the shul, well his prayers are directed to Jeruslaem but her should realize for all the money it is not Jerusalem - he is behaving like Diaspora Jews who worship money !
5. I think it's good!
Billy ,   Burlington, Canada   (08.14.11)
First, it's a sounding business decision which should be separated from politics! Second, it's good to have good ties & economic cooperation with an emerging Islamic country! Look at the big picture folks.
6. ISRAEL, KAZAKHSTAN..
SJOERD RUURD ,   PLANET EARTH   (03.01.12)
THAT IS A FORM OF A BILATERAL, INTER-GOVERNMENTAL, INTERNATIONAL WAY OF DOING BUSINESS, BY 2 DIFFERENT PEOPLE(S), BY AN AGREEMENT ON LAW, LEGISLATION, SIGNED FOR AT LEAST 3 TIMES TO MAKE IT VALID....
