Rishon is the best, Bat-Yam could be fine, too. Netanya is too much Northern for most of the people in the Center region.

Best news I have heard in a long time. I used to play hockey before I came to Israel and I wanted to keep playing but Metula was to far to go and you can't play hockey at the Tel Aviv Luna Park rink which is also very expensive to go to regularly and the ice is not well maintained. Any of those towns are fine for me although I would have thought from an economic point of view Netanya would be a good choice because it has such a large Russian population and Russians like hockey.
7. Ice is nice but I prefer a casino, more

jobs for the people and more money for the country.
8. As usual, the North gets promises but nothing else

No apartments in the center of the country. No jobs in the north and south of the country. So what do we do? We invest more in the center of the country so the scarcity of apartments will increase, as will the prices, and people will have no incentive to live in the periphery! This is the way the Government is going to solve the housing crises!

This ice rink is being privately funded so you can't condemn the government over the fact the rink is being built in the center. You want a planned economy maybe where government is responsible for everything from housing and hospitals - entertainment? I do agree though more need to be done to get people moving to the north and south. Housing prices will never go down as long as the bulk of the population wants to live in the center of the country because there is limited land to build on and because everybody wants to live in the center there is more demand for homes than there is supply When people start living all over the country that will naturally bring housing prices down because people have many more options on where to live.
