1. Dutch funding for Hamas
kapriza ,   tsafon   (07.21.11)
How brilliant! So they use the "Dutch money" to pay their salaries and office rent, which frees up other funds to be sent to Hamas. IHH is IHH, no matter what country they're in. The Dutch just found a real lame excuse to allow them to finance Hamas.
2. Here we (dutch) go again.
Gabriel ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (07.21.11)
just great. This is what we need. The dutch don't have anything to do with this, we choose our government, not the judges ( if we only could). In the Netherlands, there is for some time now an ongoing debate about the political independance of the judicial body. The trial of Geert, Wilders, for example, was ordered by a high court, while a great lot of the people wanted him to represent them. I won't go into that, but a trial ordered by a court of law is highly unusual over here, and has little precedent. The judicial body has shown, for the last couple of years, an increasing interest in the political stance of the lawmakers who, by rights, should dictate the law the judge has to apply. It is no secret that most magistrates in the netherlands are of (progressive) leftish ilk, to the frustration of the people, and questions have been raised from mainstream media to parliament. We chose our current government (partly out of concern for the islamisation of society), our government froze the assets of this organisation, the judges overruled the government, and stabbed us in the back.
3. The Dutch used to be smarter than this
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (07.22.11)
Now they bend over backwards to appease Arab and Islamic interests. One of the "Free Gaza" flotilla participants was affiliated with the Dutch Hamas organization. Dutch journalists covering the flotilla abandoned the group when Hamas involvement was uncovered. To the courts, apparently, that's of no consequence.
4. Why the different headline?
Someone ,   Somewhere   (07.22.11)
On the front page it says "Hamas Dutch assets released," then I come in here and see a story about the accusation of funding someone who funded someone who might have funded Hamas. In what reality do these stories relate to each other?
5. Dutch judicial decision
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (07.22.11)
Good news! Justice was done by the Dutch court!
6. WW 2

Holland harbored may Jews during the war. The belief is there is a major struggle between the left and the right in Europe . Most news outlets and legistlators are lefties so they won't get much negative press., but the majority of the populus are seeing right through the muslim movement and are getting fed up with their demands. We must continue to fight and expose Islam for what it is and what it is not. It is not a religion of freedom, but it is a religion of bondage with gunboat diplomacy . My suggestion is the G_D of Abraham Issac and Jacob. A G_D of forgivness. So please give the dutch a little slack my belief is they will do Israel right.
7. The Dutch going back to their old ways
tiki ,   belgium   (07.22.11)
First their is the 'Anti schitah law, now there is the 'freeing of funds for a terrorist organisation 'vowing to kill the Jews. The Dutch were 'always willing to lend 'a helping hand to anyone wanting to exterminate the Jews. By the way, this Amsterdam Juridical Court is just 'taking revange for the accuittal of Geert Wilders.
8. Its about EVIDENCE, stupid.
flashback   (07.22.11)
The US found no evidence against IHH. Germany found no evidence against the IHH. Now Holland finds no evidence against the IHH. Courts have to decide on EVIDENCE, not hearsay, allegations and propaganda.
9. Israeli High Court is acting the same ..
Michel ,   Jerusalem   (07.22.11)
10. Dutch
Daniel Freedman ,   Israel, Jerusalem   (07.22.11)
Well of course the Dutch released Hamas funds. Where would a self respecting terrorist be without the countries of Europe backing them against the Jews. Anti-Semitism is in their very DNA
11. peculiar
nestor makhno ,   netherlands   (08.05.11)
This double agenda. Forbidding the IHH to fund a democraticly chosen movement as Hamas is. In the same time violating international treaties like the Geneva convention and refusing to implement more than 50 UN Securety resolutions against a rogue state. This is how hypocrisy looks like
