Hafez al Assad the syrian butcher, befriended the nazi butcher Brunner. Combined, they raised another generation of syrian slaughterers, Bashar al Assad, who in turn will be training a new generation of butchers with a british accent..The only way to maintain Dynasties in the world of arabs. Thank you BND of Germany for making it possible. It does take butchers to make butchers.

I think there may have been several "show" trials in Germany in the 1960s .... all of which resulted in acquittals. But only two Nazis tried at Nuremberg completed their sentences -- Rudolf Hess and Albert Speer -- may their names be cursed throughout eternity. Those who were not executed were released from prison after serving barely more than two or three years. What I find extremely interesting is that each time a clemency petition was submitted on behalf of Rudolf Hess, it was turned down by one of the Allied powers -- which one might surprise you. The U.K. always rejected out-of-hand any petition to free Hess. There's something very murky in the ties of Nazi leadership to the British aristocracy; something the British government never wanted made public. That is why Rudolf Hess, probably the least noxious of the defendants at Nuremberg, was sentenced to a life term, and never released. Karl Donitz, on the other hand, was released after only several years -- despite being responsible for thousands of deaths of merchant mariners because of U-boat attacks.
