1. The Palmer Report
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.25.11)
... really has the Turks running scared. No apology; no regrets over the loss of terrorist scum; no compensation for the families of said terrorist scum. And Turkey will have a great deal of explaining to do in view of its active assistance to terrorists aboard the MAVI MARMARA and Turkish ties to IHH, a known terrorist organization. You can now add Turkey to the list of state sponsors of terror -- along with Turkey's new best friends Iran and Syria. Turkey can kiss membership in NATO and all those lucrative NATO bases in Turkey good-bye.
2. Blackmail. Barak - what do you say?
Jeremy B ,   Jerusalem   (07.25.11)
Look what we've come to - this jerk with silly mustachos threatens us, spits into our faces and our cabinet mulls an apology. Hell yeah. What happened to us? How did we become so meek? Who brainwashed us to a point that we think the best way to have friends and peace in the jungle of MidEast is to smile and bow when your face is slapped? Tell me anyone - is there such a notion as "Israel honour and pride"?
3. @ 1
Kemal ,   Turkey   (07.25.11)
Erdogan will visit Gaza what israel to prevent him from going to Gaza and Palestine
4. Call his bluff
Steve from Raleigh   (07.25.11)
Break ALL relations with Turkey right now. Kick out their diplomats right now. Freeze all their assets in Israel right now.
5. ERDOGAN: PLAN B
Ivan ,   South Africa   (07.25.11)
Looks like Mr Erdogan has been watching too much American TV Series "The A Team" and is now trying to put a new "PLAN B' together. What an idiot.
6. And what will Be the next ?
Dr. Ludwig ,   Belgium   (07.25.11)
Erdogan is Not looking for Justice. He Samts only to humiliate Israel.
7. To No 1
Robert ,   Brisbane, Australia   (07.25.11)
I doubt The Palmer Report causes any anxiety within Turkey. Your postings remind me of how a ten year old jealous child reacts to anything that is disagreeable to her selfish nature.
8. To: No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.25.11)
He can visit Gaza through Egypt. Israel can prevent him from visiting the "Palestine" Authority.
9. To #2 Jeremy
Rachel ,   US   (07.25.11)
You said it all beautifully. What has happened to us? The fact that a Likud PM is actually debating an apology makes it all the worse.
10. To # 3 Kemal
Rachel ,   US   (07.25.11)
Let him go to Gaza. So what.
11.  # 3 Maybe We Israelis Should Start Supporting the PKK
Yerach ,   Jerusalem,Israel   (07.25.11)
If you Turks can support the ersatz "Palestinians" & the Hamas & Fatah terror groups we cant we support the Kurds who are a legititimate nation who are occupied by Turkey? And while we are at it when will Turkey admit to & appologize for the Armenian holocaust? Anybody up for a flotilla to Kurdistan?
12. kemal Turkey no 3
JUDAH THE LION   (07.25.11)
Your PM can go even to hell but not through Israel. He can go through Egypt and stay there.
13. Erdogan is far worse than Gaddafi, I just
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (07.25.11)
wonder, why the Turkish people still support this madman...??? It's time for a Turkish spring to come...
14. Turkish bully
Alf Red ,   Londonistan   (07.25.11)
The behavior of Erdogan is very much in Turkish national character of respecting sheer physical strength and bullying those weaker. Erdogan and Co at least allowed, if not egged on antisemitic scum to commit this ugly provocation against Israel. It's a pity Mr Barak chose, as always, to go for paint-ball games with these bullies and Islamic bandits. It is HE who is guilty that it all ended with deaths, luckily without (just!) deaths of our soldiers. HE is the one who should ask forgivennes, if anybody must. But Israel? The only conclusion from this unhappy saga should be: deal with all the necessary force, and let it be known in advance that the force will be used. Reasonably, but inevitably. All bullies will get their due.
15. grow some balls bibi and say no
reality check ,   usa   (07.25.11)
tellerfpgen to go to hell, we will not apologize becasue it sia trap that will only lead to more humilation and show the arab world that israel can be intimatadated. It will also elevate turkeu like the lebanese war did for hezbollah. that is thelast thing israel needs.
16. @ 3
Oren ,   Israel   (07.25.11)
Every country has a right to check incoming ships to it's shores, just like customs checks an individual upon arriving at a foreign airport. These hooligans were offered to have there cargo checked and shipped to Gaza by Israel, they refused. 4 ships surrendered peacefully, the Mavi Marmara was the violent one. Turkey focuses on Israel, the only democracy in the middle east and turns its back on Arabs killing each other in Syria. It's always the same old "blame the Jews" for our failures.
17. Turkish arrogance
Christos ,   Cyprus   (07.25.11)
Ertogan’s and Turkey’s unbelievable arrogance, last week Ertogan came to Cyprus in an illegal visit since the northern part of Cyprus is an illegally occupied land and he told us that we don’t actually exist and that the Republic of Cyprus is just an international hallucination and a figment of our collective imagination. Well poor Israelis this is what you have to deal with from now on, if you think the Arabs were bad you’ll be shocked what the Turks are really like.
18. Most disgusting
Samuel ,   Israel   (07.25.11)
What is wrong with our politicians?Has Israel lost its self-esteem?Why in the world do WE have to apologize/pay copensation?Have we forgotten that our soldiers were first attacked by iron rods & knives?Soldiers will be soldiers,if attacked what do expect that they should kiss their feet? The next time lnstead of sending soldiers let Barack or other politicians do the job.
19. Don't believe the hype
Joe ,   St Louis USA   (07.25.11)
Everyone's talking tough, yet Turkey closed it's ports against flotilla 2, Israeli tourism to turkey is increasing again and who knows what kind of non- public cooperation there may be as well. Look for actions, not words. More than meets the eye here.
20. Turkey
Steve a ,   manchester England   (07.25.11)
The Turks don't have enough money to compensate the family's of all the Kurds thay have killed.
21. @Jeremy #2:
Adam ,   Golan Heights Israel   (07.25.11)
Even more diabolical. Ynet just reported on a cancelled cabinet meeting, at which one of the items on the agenda was Barak's request for permission to pursue more defense contracts with Turkey! Barak is criminally insane!
22. @Joe #19:
Adam ,   Golan Heights Israel   (07.25.11)
As an Israeli, I can honestly I have not heard of anyone even considering going to Turkey. Everyone here wants nothing to do with Turkey, and views it as another islamist enemy state. Only a few damn leftist MKs, whom we cannot get rid of no matter how we all vote, still want to kiss Turkey's ass.
23. DID ANY OF YOU SEE ERDOGEN ON TV GET KICKED
Bad assed Jew. ,   United States   (07.25.11)
IN HIS PACKAGE BY THE HORSE THAT THREW HIM??? PRICELESS. G-d has a sense of humor. wonder what humiliation is in line for him next?

25. The Turks are killing the Kurds and they
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (07.25.11)
have killed the Armenians and they support terrorism...The Turks do not belong to the civilized part of mankind...they will NEVER EVER become part of the EU... Hi Mr. Erdogan: N E V E R E V E R part of the EU...LOLL
26. @Bad assed Jew #23:
Adam ,   Golan Heights Israel   (07.25.11)
Haha... The poor horse did not appreciate the indignity of carrying the ass!
27. Erdogan
sunny shasha-apfelba ,   Israel   (07.25.11)
When Erdogan insulted President Peres he was intent to incurring a diplomatic break and it is obvious that no diplomat or head of state would behave like he did infront of TV cameras and dignataries if he did not have an ulterior motive. I just hope that we in Israel and the Government will not be FOOL enough to cave in to pressures of US or anyone else. It is so obvious that they(the guys that were killed and the Turkish Government) were the aggressors and we sent soldiers with PAINT BALLS for G-d's sake. We did not doctor the video where they kidnapped a soldier and cut his stomach, we did not doctor the video where they all said they wanted to be martyrs (Jihad) before they set out. Please someone revive the memories of those in Government...Bibi is not that old, that he can forget such a thing. If we do cave in then what??? Is Erdolgan going to give us a bear hug and forget that he hates us???The American administration of Barack Hussein Obama better persuade the Turks and the Arabs to give up trying to deligitimize Israel and let us live in peace...that goes for the Israeli leftists also.
28. FREE KURDISTAN AND CYPRUS FROM TURKISH OCCUPATION!!!!
kud4kurdistan ,   occupied kurdistan   (07.25.11)
29. Turkey is lost... for an observable future
Greg ,   US   (07.25.11)
And what will happen if Israel apologizes? will it bring the relationship back to where it were 10 years ago? will turkey become an ally again, who we can trust? No. it will be what it is. This is a fundamental change. Turkey's moving away from secular society toward islamization makes that impossible, taking into account that antisemitism is the hallmark of today's islam.
30. Palmer report
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (07.25.11)
It seems that Turkey is running scared. Let the report comes and let Erdogan go to Gaza. After this actions NATO will review the memmbership of Turkey and NATO will donwgrade from member to "banana country that was member? Welcome back to the Third World Turkey
