@15 - How many people have died in the pursuit of the ideological goal of a Jewish state in Palestine? That is religious fundamentalism, and yes there has been mass murders on both sides of the argument. Nearly all major religions have blighted the world with mass murder driven by ideological differences and I count Judaism among those. We lived by the word of Jesus (the man) and Buddha (the man) we as Man would be in a better position.

The writer absolutely understands neither Christian fundamentalism nor Islamic fundamentalism. The reporter should read both the Koran and the Bible before opinions or appeasements are made. True Christianity is based upon one being meek and humble as was shown in the life of Christ. Others were always placed first in His interests. With the Quran, it is specifically the adherents of Islam who must benefit and if a people is not converted there are three specific options that can be pursed. Making payments, death or conversion. The Quran speaks specifically of the Christian the Jew and non-believers as the ones to be destroyed by Christ who returns as a prophet. True Islam is the destruction of all that are not of their faith as it is specifically stated in the Quran. That is real Islam and not fundamentalism. Read the books before you write about things of which you have absolutely no clue. I am tired of lazy reporting by liberals who do nothing to help enlighten anyone. YNet has gone that route all too much in the last while as this will probably not be posted because it is the actual truth and nothing less.
34. #26 You're SPOT ON!
Ayeush ,   Gibraltar   (07.27.11)
I fully agree with your blaming the writers for being too far ignorant (just read the other excellent TBK from Nigeria, showing the ignorance of these writers, and others) to be entitled to have Ynet publishing their shameless opinion, after it is an opinion based on erroneous feeling of knowing it all.
35. Daniel and Avi love that mainstream media Kool-aid
Bentley's Manes   (07.27.11)
Yes, the NY Times declared this gunman a fundamentalist Christian - so it must be true... /sarcasm off
36. Breivik is not a Christian
Someone decent ,   Central Israel   (08.02.11)
Breivik is a classic neo-Nazi. Therefore is a completely wrong to characterize him as a Christian. He is not even a Christian fundamentalist. His Christianity ends at using the self-styled "Knight Templar" imagery. This is same ideology and style used by Hitler, by Ku-Klux-Klan, by Aryan Supremacists and by McVeigh, all of them racists anti-Semites, all of them allied and admirers of Islamic fundamentalism. Let's keep keep it clear: Breivik is a pagan.
37. What makes this guy a Christian?
ynr ,   UK   (08.06.11)
These writer are not serious . Do you suppose that every single person in Europe is a Christian? Do they even know who a Christian is? Did these writers read the manifesto? This killer does not even care about God, not to even mention being a Christian. Why is it that people take for granted that every blue-eyed Eurooean is a Christian? There are many blue-eyed witches and pagans in Europe, are they Christians? Please remove this report or correct the left-minded caption. Have you ever read in the Bible where Jesus Christ told his followers to murder people? This guy target the political establishment and not even muslims in his acts of wickedness. By the way how does Jewish terrorist sound in your ears, especially in the light of all that Israel is enduring from Islam in whose holy book, Jesw are called Pigs and monkeys?
