So many people seems to believe that this youth camp was ALL about protesting against Israel and pro-palestine... You don't know ANYTHING folks... this was NOT the main focus at all... It was a camp about MANY, MANY different political issues -- and it was a camp where youth's came together to socialise and 'goof around' with each other and just have fun (as teens like to do)... For a camp supposedly about many different political issues, the only banner I saw -- and it was a very large banner -- promoted the boycott of Israel. There was not a single banner decrying the violence in Syria. There was not a single banner protesting the ruthless suppression of Kurds in Turkey. There was not a single banner devoted to the singular absence of civil rights in Iran. This "youth camp" (very reminiscent of the Nazi era) was dedicated exclusively to promoting hatred of Israel. The Norwegian Labor party should not be in the business of indoctrinating schoolchildren; yet it is clear that that is precisely what it is doing. Ultimately, if the Norwegian government is looking where to apply blame for the recent tragedy -- it need look no further than itself.

I have watched his show, personally I never understood his popularity. He seemed wild and animated with his presentation. He was a conservative and wasn't afraid to take on all kinds of issues. But I agree with the article and the ADL that he seemed to use Hitler and the Holocaust in way that trivialized it. So I wondered how this wild eyed, animated guy could become so popular? But we have a free market system and in the end that's what did him in. So when I hear or read others write how they would have laughed him off the air. He is off the air on TV, and I suspect his radio show will follow. But to be fair I don't believe Beck was advocating or making any excuses for the shooting of kids. His comments were about politics. I even commented about the camp, how my kids go to camp for fun, hiking, canoeing, archery, repelling, games etc., by that remark I don't endorse the shooter, that idea is ridiculous. The shooters Father was a diplomat in the Labor party, same as the camp sponsors. I wonder whether that had any influence on his targeting selection. I didn't know it was a 60 year old event (as stated in the article), so I beginning to wonder more about the shooter and why he picked this target. What shocks me more than Beck. is in Norway you can only get 21 years in jail, no matter what kind of crime you commit? Now that is outrageous.

The camp was meant to 'goof around' so much that it requires a FM of Norway to add to the "goofiness" by being met with a big sign "Boycott Israel" and a musical of Palestinian flags. Don't get us wrong, Norway is not going to do things to please Israel, or to be just little bit fair, but it cannot hide behind high fullutin "principles" of democracy and good entente between nations, as its deeds show different intent. There is no bigger supporter of Israel in the US media than Glenn Beck. He is a hero and a true friend of Israel. It is more than I can say about the 70% of American Jews who voted for this disaster that is currently occupying the White House. I find the redefinition of term "right wing" in the media starting around 2000 to mean "national socialist" disturbing. Prior to that, all branches of socialism, from Communism, National Socialism, Parliamentary Socialism, Maoism, International Socialism and so on, were all defined as "left wing." To call Mr. Beck "right wing" and thus national socialist, does not fit as he's not a socialist.

This is an Israeli newspaper, so relating a story to Israel, especially since Beck connects himself to Israel. Why do you think it odd putting on Israeli-focus? Your concern is concocted and of no moment. Regarding Beck, he is not a well-educated man, and is an entertainer, not a leader or even a serious commentator. Stories about Beck belong with Lohan and Beyonce and Pitt Jolie stories. Most of us in Israel don't know who he is, or care one way or another. I am not sure why he is even coming. Makes me sick.
