Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (08.01.11)
All the data from both sides has to be correlated and that takes time and then leads to the truth. As for the findings, one of us is lying....... I suggest you read the article again.
32. Israeli War Crimes in Southern Lebanon
Alex   (08.01.11)
One of the more heinous crimes of Israel was the carpet bombing of southern Lebanon with cluster bomblets, knowing they were defective. They still litter the countryside, and kill any innocent civilian or animal that encounters them - that's fact, not fiction, and nothing to do with any NGO.
33. The NGO's have admitted they were lying.
robert renders ,   belgium   (08.01.11)
It hasn't been promoted, because the press is also trying to hold their honor high, but it's no secret.
34. NGO persecution of Israel
Millie ,   Colorado, USA   (08.01.11)
"But justice will only truly be served when the NGOs are held accountable for their distortions. " There needs to be a method of quickly & openly exposing their lies as they occur & their deliberate distortions, past & present, should be prosecuted in a court of law.
35. Carpet bombing #32?
Hunt S Cross ,   England   (08.01.11)
Don't be ridiculous.
36. So, the NGO's are against you too ? ,...
split ,   US   (08.01.11)
37. grazcek
norbus ,   Jerusalem   (08.01.11)
The end WWii brought about some ideals such as human rights since synically highjacked to serve other agendas. The Nazi movement is alive and well in Europe, and is a prolific user of the sham brain washing suggestive terminology to continue the drive to destroy the Jews. Proof? where were these people in Darfur, Ruanda, Sri Lanka, and many places on earth where human life is worthless?
38. #32: War crimes? Carpet bombs?
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (08.01.11)
Over 6,000 rockets and missiles were fired at Northern Israel in 32 days of war. 62 missiles fell on the town where I live. Israelis were killed because of hatred against Israel and Jews which you obviously revel in. If Southern Lebanon was "carpet bombed" why is it still there? People like you will always blame the Jews for everything. When are you going to blame Israel for the 100,000 civilian dead in Iraq, the civilian casualties in Afghanistan and Pakistan and the 2,000 dead in the last four months in Syria?
39. Broadcasting false information
Raphael ,   Netanya   (08.01.11)
Is a serious offence, and the hoax makers are sued in most democratic states. Why is Israel letting full freedom to islamofascist propaganda?
40. Those NGO's have "good & neutral" infos
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.01.11)
The most "reliable" source having been the hezbollah , and "pseudo survivors" . Those "truth" telling people remind me of this lebanese woman who was seen on TV , more than once , on different places crying for her "dead" son .
41. Stephen at #25
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (08.01.11)
Stephen, not only is he not well, he never backs up his claims and never responds to those refuting his nonsense. He belongs to a specific rogue "Ordure' within the RC church that purveys the cockamamie idea that we don't have any right to be in our ancestral homeland since 133AD
42. coming up whith the obvious
tiki ,   belgium   (08.01.11)
When the 'World Media, Politicians & Diplomats 'blindly accept the 'unchecked evidence & baseless allegations, provided by 'proven Anti Israeli Organisations like HRW & Amnesty International, it sais something about 'them, not Israel! It sais "they don't deserve the title given to them". They are not journalists, politicians or diplomats but Anti Semitic agitators under a (very thin & obvious) anti Israel veneer. It's about time to expose & bring them to justice. Let them 'provide evidence for their hatefull anti Israel vitriol. If they can't, make them pay for slander.
43. #1 - the "truth" in your mind
William ,   Israel   (08.01.11)
you also stated the BBC's Panorama told "lies" and "manipulated facts" during their report on the Mavi Marmara because their conclusion deviated from your set agenda. As we can see, you have no real semblance of what "truth" is, so your opinion on the NGO reports is not credible. One thing to consider....why did the NGO reports ignore the fact that the same woman who claimed to have lost her home appeared in photos in front of 3 different buildings? Just one of many, many discrepancies that keep appearing in accusations against Israel. And notice - not one world court picked up the case...so if the report was "the whole truth" apparently, it wasn't enough to indict Israel, hmmm?
44. To: No. 32
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.01.11)
If Israel had wanted to carpet bomb Lebanon, there would be no Lebanon. Of course, why bother to carpet bomb when all Israel has to do is push a button and Lebanon disappears into a mushroom cloud?
45. No. 36, you're obviously badly misinformed
Marco ,   Spain   (08.01.11)
46. No. 36,you're obviously ignorant of Middlle East lies cultur

They call it replacement theology.
48. Perfect Examples
Ron, OC, CA ,   OC, US   (08.01.11)
Perfect examples of why I don't give to AI or NPR (National Palestine Radio) as they have been known for years. The Juan Williams incident and I cut off public TV as well. Haaretz is just as bad.
49. Remember Lily Tomlin on "Laugh-In"?
noa ,   israel   (08.02.11)
She dressed as a litle girl, sat on a giant rocking chair, and blurted out, "And that"s the truth", and then made a spitting noise with her tongue sticking out. Could be you!
50. #44 Sarah B , U.S.A. / Israel
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (08.02.11)
Which heavy bomber do you want to use for this kind of mission?
51. They are always wrong.
Boxer ,   USA   (08.02.11)
Israel is ALWAYS right!
52. Surprise, Surprise - nothing new
Isaac   (08.02.11)
The distortion of the NGO's is nothing new. In fact, they followed up with the distortions in operation Cast Lead. What gives this article the most credibility are the talkbackers who recite the distortions. Remember the Bob Dylan song - "Everybody must be sued." So sue them.
53. Sue them if you dare...
Persian CAT   (08.02.11)
BTW, the Hezb is a resistance organization that has successfully defended their homeland against the Zionist frequent invaders. The whole world knows that. The authors have failed miserably to offer ANY evidence to prove the NGO's or the findings of the Goldstone Mission wrong. Historical revisionism doesn't work.
54. Albrecht Klein #50
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (08.02.11)
Even the US doesn't need heavy bombers for a mission within 100km of their borders. Well within range of a lot of weapons systems. Guess you never served otherwise you would know something about weapons
55. #44 Sarah shows her ignorance!
Hisham ,   Vancouver   (08.02.11)
If Israel bombed Lebanon into a mushroom cloud (meaning Israel would use the A-bomb), not only Lebanon would disappear, but Israel as well, the two countries are so close!
56. to# 44
inconito   (08.02.11)
and so all the Arab countries will be released from their commitment to non proliferation. You probably think you're going to nuke lebanon and the world will be watching you, drinking coffee? Muslim countries like Pakistan or Iran or others, will respond and shave Israel in response. and you will not even get the U.S support or anybody. israel will become the worst rogue state in the world, and radioactif
57. To #1
John ,   Alaska   (08.04.11)
So ... when the reports say both that a building was occupied for two weeks before an attack and also that it was unoccupied until seven hours before an attack, these are both the truth? And when an NGO revises its report of noncombatant casualties downward multiple times and then admits that most of the downward-revised casualties were in fact combatants, each version of their report was the whole truth? I really would like a response. I presume that you did in fact read the article you responded to. I would like to know the reasoning behind your post #1, in light of the above-mentioned points addressed in this article.
58. To #50
John ,   Alaska   (08.04.11)
According to an Air University report, Israel is currently in possession of Jericho 2 missiles with a range of 1,500 km and a payload of 1,000 kg. They don't need aircraft to deliver their nukes.
59. To #55 definition of Irony
John ,   Alaska   (08.04.11)
Hisham, you don't know how nuclear weapons work, do you? It's okay - everybody is ignorant of some things. When a nuclear weapon is detonated, adjacent countries are not also destroyed. A brief read of nuclear weapon archive dot org is pretty terrifying, but the horrific effects to not keep spreading forever (actually they do, but for our purposes they can be safely said not to). Let's assume the Israeli nukes have a 1 megaton yield. We actually have no idea, but it's a nice, round number. A 1 MT nuclear device should yield a fireball 2 km high, but the damage to buildings would not be serious beyond about 17 km, and you would not suffer burns beyond about 19 km away from the site of the burst. Of course, fallout will travel with the prevailing winds, killing people and rendering land sterile. More immediately, the EMP will render any electronic devices used by surviving Lebanese forces inoperable. Meanwhile, Israel, much farther from the blast site, would be unaffected. The question you, and any other enemy of Israel must ask is, "will Israel do this?" For the answer, I advise you to research the Samson Option. Beyond this, a thorough reading of IDF doctrine will provide you with a very strong reason for any nation or group not to present itself as a danger to Israel. Providing Israel with credible evidence that you are a danger to the Jewish nation is militarily unwise.
