1. Stay on your border
LebanonPride ,   Canada   (08.01.11)
Simple as that.
2. Haven't you learned yet, Lebanon?
Vlad   (08.01.11)
Nothing good can come from messing with Israel.
3. @LebanonPride,We were on our side of the border!
David ,   Karkom   (08.01.11)
Simple as that.
4. War with Lebanon is just a matter of time.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (08.01.11)
Lebanon is now a terrorist state dominated by the Iranian proxy Hezbollah. In the past, we could say that Lebanon the state was not the same as Hezbollah. This is no longer the case. Eventually, we will have to deal with this threat militarily. If we don't preemptively strike Hezbollah, then war will be at a time of their choosing, to their advantage. Allowing them to attack us will only cost more Israeli lives than necessary.
5. #1 Sure, but where is Sayyid Nasrallah reaction?
PalestinePride ,   UNGA   (08.01.11)
We want to see a swift punishment
6. both sides
female 26 ,   Israel   (08.01.11)
Soldiers on the borders often see danger that isn't necessarily there. There is a sort of paranoia that develops when you are protecting your country that sometimes causes you to think that a child is a man with a gun or that the border was crossed. This sounds like both sides were under high stress. It happens, we don't have to demonize again, either of our sides. The quickness of some of you to do that upsets and saddens me. It makes me feel sick and nauseated. There are more important things to lend your passion to on the issue of the relationship between Lebanon and Israel.
7. fire on IDF on the Northern border
bani   (08.01.11)
I hope the the last war memories have not faded yet from the memories of the Lebanese government . Last time they sniped and killed an Israeli colonel on routine duty within Israel cutting a tree, now they repeat the same stupid nonsense with another incident . It's a very risky game to play !
8. #4 the time when Israel enjoyed its preemptive attack
Sami ,   Lebanon   (08.01.11)

9. #2 Vlad

Haven't you learned Israel? 2000 & 2006?
10. Its Lebanon stupid...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.01.11)
Our I.D.F should learn to avoid problems at the Northern border at any cost. Our military leaders should understand that they are dealing with Lebanon. People there are crazy over there. They eat raw meat for breakfast...
11. We should avoid to stir a hornets nest!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.01.11)
Its as simple as that...
12. #2 Vlad

Nothing good can come from messing with Lebanon... Rest in peace Dov Harari...
13. Whats the world coming up to?
Cynthia ,   U.S.A   (08.01.11)
In the past, the Lebanese army was a lamb, so why has it grown teeth all of a sudden? Could it be due to our rapid decline. Two great failures in 2000 and 2006? If Lebanon can dare to challenge our might. I hate to see what Egypt, Turkey and Iran could do... We must apologize and compensate Turkey without any further delay. Its doesn't hurt to be submissive in the interest of national security...
14. Just when the uber lefty Tel Avivy selfish petz
Al   (08.01.11)
were getting their day in the sun bitching and complaining about everything and nothing reality sets in. The fact that your neighbours want you all dead. Take your head out of your ass and wake up.
15. Lebanese army,IDF exchange fire

16. Let me guess. Did Al Manar have cameramen onsite again?
Zvi   (08.01.11)
17. So it's OK for Lebanon to shoot...
Deebo_ ,   Holon   (08.01.11)
...without warning because they THINK someone may or may not have been on their side of the border. But it's not OK for Israel to defend our borders against unruly "Naqba/Naqsa" protesters who attempt to illegally infiltrate and cause harm regardless of prior explicit warnings. I see how this works.
18. NO 5
TAHRIR QUDS ALYAHUDI   (08.01.11)
Hizbollah no match with IDF.Nasrallah is hiding in his grave
19. 1 and 5#

#5. Very good comment. I take it the swift punishment to be metered out to that traitor common gangster and filthy sewer rat Nasrallah? He is not wanted by Palestinians about any Palestinian issue. We can look after ourselves. Hes a bad odour fouling South Lebanon and let him rot there We dont need that self appointed champion of Palestine to speak or act for us..because its all a charade and all to use the Palestinian cause to tighten his stranglehold on Lebanon As for #1 Perhaps you should also address your demands to BOTH Israel AND that jumped up sewer rat Because ....Remind me again LP who crossed over the border and started the last Lebanon War with Israel?
20. @5 Sure.
ArabGayPride   (08.01.11)
(Your joking, right?)
21. are the leabanes nuts????
israeli ,   israel   (08.01.11)
22. Kind of deranged people
Ricardo Ibrahim ,   Rome   (08.01.11)
These Lebanese are kind of retarded. They invade borders, kill UNIFIL soldiers, abduct soldiers and then behave like crybabies... I hope Israel can give them a lesson once and for all.
23. No Lebanese soldiers wounded or kiled
Lebanese ,   South Lebanon   (08.01.11)
this is a lie, lebanese army said that their is no wounded or killed soldiers.
24. No. 13 Cynthia
Madeleine ,   Rehovot Israel   (08.01.11)
Are you nuts? apologise to turkey? No way. What are we supposed to apologise for? Not only did the terrorists on board attack our soldiers with knives, chains, metal bars etc., with intent to k ill and maim, they were videoed by the boat's own security cameras, preparing for the moment when our soldiers would touch down on the deck. They threw one of our soldiers overboard, seriously injured another. Our boys acted in self0defense and for that there is absolutely no apology. I guess from over there in the not so good U. S. of A., everything looks simple to you. I would think that right now America has enough of its own problems (like multi-trillion dollar debt that they can't repay) without sticking its nose into our affairs.
25. Post Nos. 10, 11 and 12 are not mine
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.01.11)
I actually have excellent grammar, and I know when to put an apostrophe in the word "it's." I mean, really -- "avoid to stir?" As if. My writing style is inimicable. Keep trying, though, it's rather amusing to read the imposter's paltry efforts.
26. Lebanon Pride
David ,   Haifa, Israel   (08.01.11)
mess with us and we burn Beirut to the ground... again.
27. #24 Madeleine
Cynthia ,   U.S.A   (08.01.11)
I am a Jew like you and have every right to stick my nose into Israel's affairs. I am more concerned about the lives of your children than you are. An apology to Turkey is a MUST, whether idiots like you agree with it or not.
28. Cool Head #6
Spengler ,   US   (08.01.11)
Thank god I finally found at least one person on these talk backs with something not only insightful but thoughtful!!!! Bless your heart and too bad there arent more people like you on ALL SIDES!!!!!!!
29. # TO SAMI IN LEBANON
Ricardo Macher ,   Rio de Janeiro   (08.01.11)
We read these Lebanese that come to write in these posts, like this Sami, as if they were talking about a real country. Helloo, Lebanon is no longer a country. The so-called Lebanon is an Iranian outpost and you are mere guinea-pigs being used agains Israel. Still you insist and provoke and make Iranians game. Next time will obliterate completely this so-called Lebanon and please... no crybaby. You are asking for this.
30. #1 LebanonPride
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (08.01.11)
