Little Miss Muffett ,   Sitting on a Tuffett   (08.03.11)
This man was an incredibly brave hero. It is a travesty that he met such an ignoble fate at the hands of the Soviets. Kudos to those who keep his memory alive and who keep searching for the truth about his fate. The fact that he died in Soviet hands is a further indictment of their system.

Hi, since I am not in Israel, I do not know the answers for the following questions. Maybe somebody can help? 1) Does in Israel exist a street or square or something with the names of the Holocaust heroes, like Schindler and Wallenberg? 2) Does State of Israel pay some sort of pension for these people if they are alive? Thank you in advance for answers!

I'm a hungarian born jew who survived the horrors of the Holocaust in Budapest. Wallenberg was a great man who saved many innocent lives, including my sister. May Ha'Shem Bless his Memory.

Wallenberg's family is and always has been the richest family in Scandinavia and one of the richest in Europe. Therefor FDR discretionary fund sounds like an urban legend. Raul could get cash from his family if he wanted to. Although he reportedly been at odds with his bros who run the family business. FDR has not been particular kind to Jews. On the opposite. It sounds more like a false credit claim. The way it is hidden for so long raise a question, why is he so special. Perhaps the answer is it is somehow related to still living powerful people in high places.

8. Schindler

Oskar Schindler became bankrupt immediately after the Second World War, and lived on the financial assistance of Jewish organizations throughout the remainder of his life (he also visited Israel several times). At his request, he is buried in the Mount of Olives Christian Cemetery. Tel Aviv, Bat Yam and Beer Sheva have streets named in his honor. Tel Aviv also has a street named for Raoul Wallenberg.
