1. Abe, I'm sure that your prior IDF service
seadog1946 ,   Arthur Kill, NY   (08.04.11)
will come in handy, as you return to the front line in the Golan, when the time comes for the International community (including Israel?) to "impose immediate consequences" on that repressive regime. In the meantime, please ruminate on the phrase... "He's all hat and no cattle."
2. The ADL's mandate..
Chris.B ,   Australia   (08.04.11)
I thought was to harass anybody who is critical of Israeli or Jewish peoples actions. I wonder why they never take to task the blatently racist and bigoted movies from Hollywood???? Now they care about Syrians give me a break.
3. When has the UN ,West governments
DT ,   TA Israel   (08.04.11)
ever done anything strong and meaningful and won able to claim a victory. Nato can't even finish off a backward country like Libya. It could never cope with dealing with Syria and Iran.
4. #3 All talk and getting

paid for nothing. These bunch of schoolboys only meet when there is something to discuss AGAINST Israel. Send them all home and tell them to take their schoolbags with them. Why even bother with the clowns. They are probably also pissed out of their minds, too!

You thought wrong. The Anti-Defamation League deals with all forms of bigotry. They've spoken out against prejudice aimed at various racial and religious groups and also against the gay community. Not that the truth is likely to change any of your pre-conceived notions.
6. stay out of this Abe.... this is not your fight or priority
Rafi ,   US   (08.04.11)

8. Bulletin
Marty ,   Toronto Canada   (08.04.11)
A news bulletin just flashed on the TV screen here on the all news channel - UN calling emergency meeting to deal with the ongoing violence in the West Bank after Israeli soldier breaks Palestinian's finger nail.
9. #1;seadog, ALWAYS WRONG
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (08.04.11)
As we all know, when the International community decides to take on Arab/Muslim countries (i.e. Iraq) Israel is always publicly excluded. The excuse given is the Arab/Muslim countries would not participate if Israel is involved, as we saw in Gulf War 1, under Bush 1. Now Israel did secretly participate with intelligence gathering and equipment supplied, but it had to be done in a clandestine way. So as not to offend the other Arab dictators who were part of that coalition. But here we see just a small sample of the truth: 1) The Navy, used Israeli Pioneer pilotless drones for reconnaissance in the Gulf. 2) Israel provided mine plows that were used to clear paths for allied forces through Iraqi minefields. 3) Mobile bridges flown directly from Israel to Saudi Arabia were employed by the U.S. Marine Corps. 4) Israel Aircraft Industries developed conformal fuel tanks that enhanced the range of F15 aircraft. These were used in the Gulf. 5) An Israeli-produced targeting system was used to increase the Cobra helicopter's night-fighting capabilities. 6) Night-vision goggles used by U.S. forces were supplied by Israel. 7) Israel provided other equipment to U.S. forces including flack vests, gas masks and sandbags. 8) Israel manufactured the canister for the highly successful Tomahawk missile. I have NOT even scratched the surface of what else was provided by Israel. So not only did Israel supply logistic support for the coalition. But Israeli innovation added to American made weapons improved there performance. So countless American lives were saved by this. In addition, Israel for the only time in it's history did NOT respond to Saddam's Scud rocket attacks against Israel at the request of the USA. The USA knew Saddam was using the attacks to draw Israel into the battle, hoping the "Arab Street" would force the Arab countries to withdraw, rather than fight alongside the IDF.. I suppose when you are gone, as Mark Twain once stated; "I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying that I approved of it." I'm sure many letters will come your way.
10. Foxman is Irrelevant
John ,   USA   (08.04.11)
It's astounding that YNet would waste space on anyone as insignificant as Foxman. He speaks for no-one.

Foxman's service will not be necessary. Remember what Israel did to the Syrian army, even when the Syrians did a surprise attack with overwhelming odds.
12. Hizbalebanon on the security council
Chatich   (08.04.11)
Sure makes me feel more secure, how about you guys?
13. #9 - you failed to mention the exploits of the
seadog1946 ,   Arthur Kill, NY   (08.04.11)
Israeli made Popeye/Have Nap missile during desert storm. As to the Israeli contibutions you listed... were they part of the Israeli taxpayer funded military aid program to the US or was the funds to produce those those Israeli items skimmed from the US taxpayer funded military welfare check that Israel receives annually or did the US military directly procure those items from Israeli arms dealers. You can float stories about Israeli clandestine operations all you want... none of it is documented. Lets be realistic... the Israeli military will/has never fielded troops in an International community military action/conflict.
14. Astonishing ignorance
Thomas ,   USA   (08.04.11)
Don't you know that Syria is under the protection of Russia and China hence off limit to the West? Russia has a naval base at Tartus and ever since the Cold War Soviet-Russia always supported Syria. Western powers attack Israel only because it appears to be an easy pray with wishy-washy politicians but they are afraid to take on the Russians. Foxman of ADL is a Soros-Jstreet-Obamabot representing said group only.
15. To: No. 13
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.04.11)
Only because Israel has never been asked to contribute troops to an international endeavor and has frequently been asked to stay out of such fragile coalitions. If the United States had asked Israel for help in Somalia, the U.S. would not have had to endure the terrible ass-kicking it received at the hands of a handful of barefoot warlords using antiquated weapons. For that matter, had the United States asked Israel to assist in Afghanistan, Iraq and Waziristan, the war would have gone considerably better for the United States and the Taliban would not be making a comeback, As to Israel's clandestine operations -- who do you think killed all those Black September terrorists responsible for the murder of eleven Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics? Who do you think is knocking off Iranian nuclear physicists (and Russian) left and right? You might want to be a little more careful, sea cur. I'm sure someone in the echelons of Israeli intelligence knows exactly where you dock your little dinghy. Hate to have something happen to it, you know?
16. #15 - oh yes, reprisals by the vaunted
seadog1946 ,   Arthur Kill, NY   (08.04.11)
Israeli intelligence agencies... not to worry, they have other priorities... they are still desperately seeking Gilad, Moses' staff and the Ark of the Covenant.
17. #16 seadog
solomon ,   bklyn   (08.04.11)
Yes, vaunted and feared by their enemies, which they are. They don't need you to fear them; and others that should are smart enough to do so.
18. #13; seadog, OMISSION OF FACTS
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (08.05.11)
Here we go with distractions, this one is Israel gets foreign aid from the USA. So do many countries i.e. Pakistan $4 Bil/year, Egypt $3 bil/year, etc. We do know that 75% of the aid must be spent in the USA which provides jobs for the U.S. citizens in 28 states. So clearly beyond the military assistance you agree Israel provided (Popeye/Hav/Nap), as I stated in my post, I didn't even scratch the surface of how Israel helps the USA. I don't worry about people like you whose weak attempt to anger the USA public with the old and tired, not to mention weak foreign aid argument. The theory is, lets get the people angry about money we give Israel, especially now in tough economic times. The reality is the USA doesn't really give money (as in cash)...at least not much...most aid consists of co-signing loans for Israel giving them a lower interest rate on their loans (BTW Israel has never have missed a payment or had a loan forgiven), the rest is mostly military equipment, which provides the jobs as do the loan money which is mostly spent in the USA. As to your ridiculous claim that Israel has never fielded troops, as I pointed out in my first post. At the request of the USA, they were asked NOT TO, but why? The Arab/Muslim countries politically can't fight alongside the IDF,(against another Muslim country) it would upset the "Arab Street". Your intentional and antisemitic omission of that relevant fact, speaks volumes about your lack of credibility. So now I'll wait for your response. Which will likely say something to the effect of, anybody who speaks out against Israel is accused of antisemitism to avoid legitimate political debate. But if that were true, you wouldn't write half truths (lies through omission), about troops in the field, would you? CASE CLOSED NICE TRY BUT NO CIGAR.
