but there are some jews who were from russia mostly and not too many askenazi jews left from germany there. mostly they are from russia. my guess is they have some kind of feeling that hitler would have won out completley if there we not some jews left which is why theyare there now, to remind those that hitler did not win out complelty. there is a large chabad outreach in berlin and during chanuhak they have a nice celebration in berlin under that brandenberg colums where hitler gave his speeches with a large menorah. it is to laugh in the face of hitler. so if you can look at it from that persepctive then you can see why there are jews now there.

Hello!! Berlin has a stunning Yeshiva and Seminary! The Yidishkeit there is reborn and flourishing. Great Rabbis from all over the world come and teach and praize the community. Rav Tatz said that Germany nowadays is perhaps the savest place on earth where a Jew can live and do Mizvas without being afraid of Amalek. ALso, it is the greatest revenge to Nazis, who wanted to "clean" Germany from Jews. And Germans nowadays treat Jews with a lot of respect, like in any other country in the world. A Fact.
