61. We see the last desperate gasp of leftist dinosaur.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.07.11)
I'm sure Netanyahu saw it. All of Israel saw it. We see the last desperate gasp of the leftist dinosaur. It's political parties are being voted out of existence. It's agenda is rejected by a huge majority of Israelis. Recent polls show almost 80% of Israeli Jews reject ceding Judea and Samaria. The ultimate irony is that the huge sums of money being spent by the New Israel Fund, and other leftist groups, to fund the housing protests, will end up pressuring the government to massively building Judea and Samaria. For that is the real and obvious solution and almost everyone knows it.
62. To #8, democracy.
Beary White ,   Norway   (08.08.11)
Nationalize YNET... In Norway most of the media is acting nationalized, being contolled by leftist, which just now is the elected government. And it's not a good thing, We have just seen one individuals exploding due to no possibilities to make his voice beeing heard through newspapers. Leftist people does allow very little or nothing from the rightist sight beeing written, or sent through the nationlized leftist TV/Radio. Israel should keep its way of democracy, and not copy the norwegians, which is not good.
63. 55 - its not over yet...
eporue ,   europe   (08.08.11)
if there will be blood in the street is only dependend on your government... they have to come up with solutions... after all huge protests and the protestors have much reason to go to the streets - your government has done NOTHING... lets hope, they come to their senses immediately...
64. Take leftist media numbers and divide by ten..
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.08.11)
To get an fairly accurate idea of the number of people actually participating in leftist anti-government demonstrations: 1) Take the number most often reported by the leftist media. 2) Divide by ten. To get an accurate idea of the number of people participating in patriotic demonstrations. 1) Take the number most often reported by the leftist media. 2) Multiply by ten.
65. What we didn't see
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (08.08.11)
Protesters getting shot down in the streets because they were protesting That's the difference between us and most of our lousy neighbors, freedom to demonstrate without fearing for our lives
66. Sima Kadmon, wake up
Clear Thinker ,   Haifa, Israel   (08.08.11)
Likud is the luckiest political party in the world. In the past few years it steered our country to relative economic prosperity and now it has the good fortune to have the political support to distribute the fruits of its economic success in a more equitable way than its predecessors (Kadima and the Labor Party) have ever done.
